A three-day proposed trucker strike, set for Oct. 11-13 has been promoted by the Facebook group: “Truckers to Shut Down America.”

It looks like the trucker strike is fizzling. I think it was ill conceived. There’s better ways to call attention to the problems than stopping traffic in DC. Many may have been planning to go to this DC Memorial March, but were afraid of the trucker strike. Hopefully, if the Trucker strike fizzles as it is doing today, then more will show up to honor the veterans.
