Based on the thuggish Federal closings of open air monuments and National Parks, is it feasible the feds could TRY shut down the Interstate Highway system?

For those who live east of the Mississippi, there are vast portions of western states which are controlled by the Feds.
NO taxes are paid from these lands, either. Nevada land mass is 87% controlled by the Feds. Utah is about 82% the same. IF you take time to look at really detailed maps, you will see that millions of acres of forests, desert, and canyons are controlled by the Feds. Where I live, the BLM controls wide areas of desert and they can shut it down if they can find enough persons to enforce the shutdown.
Millions of acres are leased to ranchers for grazing, and they can cause havoc with that, also.
Utah is trying to get back their Fed controlled land, but the guy leading that push isn’t getting much support.
Maybe this weeks actions by rangers will change that.

At the very beginning, there were those who said the constitution did not allow for expenditures for hiways.
The issue was resolved by turning the first, the national pike from cumberland d to vandalia il to the states. The feds provided engineering and some money to the states.
