NEWBURYPORT — Pat Vaillancourt went on a trip last week that was intended to showcase some of America’s greatest treasures.

Instead, the Salisbury resident said she and others on her tour bus witnessed an ugly spectacle that made her embarrassed, angry and heartbroken for her country....

For many hours her tour group, which included senior citizen visitors from Japan, Australia, Canada and the United States, were locked in a Yellowstone National Park hotel under armed guard.

They were not allowed to go outside because the park was closed. You can dispute the extent of the tactics enforcing such an order, but giving guests staying in hotels and campgrounds 48 hours to leave doesn’t seem like an unreasonable restriction to me.

“See, this is the point where you need to start with the civil disobedience and mockery. I can’t recreate? Watch me! Start a sing a long, skip around, play frisbee.... force the thugs to try to arrest you for “recreating” and then make a public spectacle of the trial.”

So they are recreating, what law that says they can’t recreate. Arrest a bus load of seniors for taking pictures and see how well that goes over. Especially with the embassy of the asian visitors. Can you say “international incident”?

Sounds like an International Incident involving the denial of Human Rights.

This needs to be taken all the way to The Hague.

We need names and faces of these thugs. When they are exposed for what they are and savaged in a life changing way on the internet they will think twice about following orders.

“Discretely taken cellphone video forwarded to the media and a hungry lawyer would be a great start.”

I like the way you think.

To me, everything after Ruby Ridge and Waco are simply stops along the same path.

At Ruby Ridge the US government targeted and entrapped a US citizen. In the course of pursuing trumped up charges against Randy Weaver, they executed his son and wife, neither of whom were even accused of committing a crime.

At Waco agents of the federal government simply slaughtered everybody. To save the children from abuse they incinerated them.

After these two incidents, the slope became very slippery.

How much will you personally tolerate?

The thing about the German people in the 1930s was their respect for and obedience to The Law. It proved to be their undoing.

It may well prove to be yours, also.

“And there are still those on this forum that do not believe that these sobs will kill us when they are ordered to do so”

I had that very discussion with my wife last night. Usually events procede from thoughts to words to actions. For decades the left has had a viceral hatred for those who oppose them. They have started to express that hatred openly, calling us anarchists, terrorists, etc and also recommending the use of violence against us. IMO that will continue to build as they gain more power. Then the violence will begin. When you put armed leftist into uniforms, there is big trouble ahead.

“She said I should just put up a HATE OBAMA (her caps) website and be done with it. Methinks she’s in for a rude awakening.”

How long did the German people support their Fuhrer?

The socialists/marxists in the administration have social psychologists advising on how to get the sheeple to comply. We need someone on the conservative side to battle against it. Hasn’t anyone who studied history come up with a theory about how the Germans could have taken down Hitler before he went so far? Where are the good geniuses who know this stuff! We need to do this now, is right. The first thing that has to go is Roe or God will not be with us.

Park management should have made it clear that if one of the members wanders away from base and the park closes on them Yellowstone is not liable.

Are you trying to imply that armed restraint and deprivation of freedom of movement were simply aimed at reducing liability for the Federal Government? It was an act aimed at protecting American taxpayers?

Funny that they had funds for armed restraint personnel and no funds for continuing their contractual services.

It is totally bogus, overreaching and, if allowed to continue, the death of freedom in this nation.

last weekend my sister had planned to have her wedding at a beautiful outdoor scenic site on a federal park near Santa Fe.

The gates were locked, road closed, and miles of wide open spaces were empty, protected by the shutdown from any citizen who had plans to enjoy the land of the free.

The obvious petulance of this Chief Executive is palpably obvious in his orders to spread the pain as widely as possible—as long as it doesn’t shut down his favorites like amnesty protesters.
