["visibly frustrated"] Obama willing to talk, but only after government open, debt ceiling raised

President Obama on Tuesday expressed openness to large-scale discussions with Republicans on entitlements, taxes and a host of other hot-button issues.

He even offered to buy them dinner — but only after the government is reopened and the nation’s debt ceiling is raised.

In a rare appearance before reporters in the White House press room, a visibly frustrated Mr. Obama again called on House Speaker John Boehner to call a vote on a “clean” bill to reopen Washington.

His little rant, chock full of hesitation in his sentences and his blathering on and on, shows us what a sick cookie this cupcake truly is.

The questions fired at him by a sycophantic press were just withering!

He is truly the most dangerous man in America! We can’t blame Hairy and Nutsy as they’re zombies.

Gee, if the debt limit is raised, there is nothing to talk about, is there?

And there are a whole bunch of members of Congress right now who privately will tell you, I know our positions are unreasonable, but we're scared that if we don't go along with the tea party agenda...

Will there even be one "reporter" with the cajones to ask the Carny-val barker at the next press briefing to name one "member of Congress" Obammy was referring to?

Fire all of your unelected CZAR's and then will have something to talk about.

Just the name alone pisses me off.

Bonehead has surprised me so far.

The media has attacked Boehner so viciously that previous to this he has not been able to get a good footing.

This time is different because its not just the GOP supporting the position. It's the majority of the public who hate Obamacare including independents and some Dems.

It's all about public opinion. We are finally moving ahead there, the media starting to look helpless because the public is turning and Boehner will benefit.

Gee, anyone think the Bamster might be a bit unclear on the concept of this “negotiation” thing?

Ever wonder why Democrats toe the line?/

The Democrats threats against their members are much stronger than any Republican Tea Party threat.

They wouldn’t have to worry bout a TEA Party challenge if there weren’t enough voters that agreed with the TEA Party candidates.

And the threats from the RINOs to the Tea Party are hollow because the Tea Party either has the votes on their side, or they went to D.C. solely on principle. Hence why Allen West would never change his positions even in the face of the RINOs redistricting him out of the House. Democrats only have a loyal voter base and only vote on principle in a small handful of hard core leftist districts. Most of them only win by manipulating the public into believing lies, and they need the financial support of the party to buy enough advertising to do that. Hence the party’s threats have real teeth.

Mr. Obama again called on House Speaker John Boehner to call a vote on a “clean” bill to reopen Washington.
***I agree with zer0bama on this one. The house can pass this “clean” bill very easily:

1) SCOTUS has declared Obamacare a tax.
2) Taxes, by law, need to originate from the House of Reps
3) Obamacare did not.
4) Current Congress proposes to remedy that illegality by originating the proposal today. As originally worded And as originally TITLED. In the House.
5) See if Obamacare passes today.
6) Fund the rest of the guvmint.

Obamacare/shutdown vanity: Why doesn’t the house of reps just follow the law?
