Cornelius Balbus [think George Soros], during the touchy-feely diplomacy that filled the lacuna between Caesar's march on Rome and the outbreak of open warfare.

You know, I think a deal must have been made when Palin took the VP slot for McCain. She must have had to sign on to support of him for a time or something.

I just got tired of feeling like the odd man out, the one person constantly saying no to everything (mostly frivolous spending). It just wore me out. I think it’s human nature to want to come to get along with others, I don’t think it’s reflective of one party or another.
