Ayotte is going to be a one-termer just like Scotty Brown. What a severe disappointment to see first termers elected by the grassroots sell out so damn quickly.

The need to get along is overwhelming for most.
Even as confrontational as I am, after serving a few years on a city board found myself going along to get along, at which point (after realizing it) I resigned.
When you will no longer stand up on principle, you should resign and let fresh blood continue the fight

'What Cruz and Lee and the millions of Americans who are backing them now understand is that, as Niall Ferguson has put it, there is the smell of smoke in the American house. Unlike those Obamacare supporters in San Jose who only smelled smoke when their own health insurance bills arrived now jacked up by $10,000 and $1,800 a year these conservatives have gotten the inevitable consequences of decades of leftist and moderate Republican government expansion all along.'
AND IF THAT ONE DOESN'T SAY IT ALL NUTHIN DOES!
I WONDER IF KELLY ET AL NEED A TRIP TO A REALLY CLOSE BELTONE OUTLET...?
YIKES!

What a severe disappointment to see first termers elected by the grassroots sell out so damn quickly. Political operators skilled in, and specializing in, "turning people around" on a particular issue to destroy their cred has been a staple of politics since before Cicero. Cicero was "worked over" and effectively neutralized by Julius Caesar's Mephistophilis and "advance man", the Gaditane millionaire and political financier L. Cornelius Balbus [think George Soros], during the touchy-feely diplomacy that filled the lacuna between Caesar's march on Rome and the outbreak of open warfare.

Hey, this witch was just elected not long ago. She was always a McCain shill.
Tea Party? yeah right!
Palin should have never supported this woman. I heard her opponent was a good guy!

Keep up the Inquisition!

It takes an unusually virtuous man to risk his livelihood over principles. Senators consider their stations as personal property, theirs to keep for as long as they wish.
Good on you. Is it fair to say the go-along current that carried you downstream is endemic to reelected politicians, regardless of party?

Kelly is both a follower and a wannabe, a very dangerous combination. I hope she enjoys her remaining two years in the Senate.

I heard her opponent was a good guy! He was...Ayotte beat him in the primary by a razor-thin number of votes. Sarah made a mistake in Red Hampshire.

You know, I think a deal must have been made when Palin took the VP slot for McCain. She must have had to sign on to support of him for a time or something.
I sure wish she would stand up against him now. She paid her dues and if she did stand up it would really mean something and diminish the effect McCain has.
She supported Cruz, but the irony is that the people she supported for McCain are the very same people crucifying Cruz now.
Really a shame.

"Phony conservatives" or people with big mortgages out, whose notes got sold to the E-GOP?
Who are now intent on collecting?
To: Jacquerie
I just got tired of feeling like the odd man out, the one person constantly saying no to everything (mostly frivolous spending). It just wore me out. I think it’s human nature to want to come to get along with others, I don’t think it’s reflective of one party or another.
