Matt Patrick’s Intense Interview With TX Sen. John Cornyn!
ktrh.com ^ | 10/9/13 | Matt Patrick

Posted on 10/09/2013 8:42:32 AM PDT by cotton1706

Starts at 7:09, ends 27:58

Cornyn claims that FreedomWorks does a disservice by encouraging "republican violence" i.e. by supporting and funding conservative challengers to moderate republicans.

Yet Cornyn endorsed Arlen Specter and Charlie Crist and funded Lisa Murkowski over the republican nominee.

He says "we need to win elections" Yet he supported or endorsed every moderate over every conservative when he was head of the NRSC.

Sounds like a man who realizes the conservatives are swinging about to aim his direction. He would be correct about that.

Someone please remind me again how Murkowski voted on cloture on BambiCare?

Cornyn is just protecting the RINO Herd by false advertising and Leaking stories about attacking Cruz in a Party Meeting is not “Attacking Convervatives”?

I am going to make a donation to Freedom Works and send a Copy to the NRSC.

John Cornyn's legacy as Chairman of the NRSC:

Arlen Specter - Democrat
Charlie Crist - Democrat
Lincoln Chafee - Democrat
Lisa Murkowski - Independent

Republican candidates stabbed in the back:

Ken Buck
Sharon Angle
Christine O'Donnell
Joe Miller

Cornyn probably started out as a good guy but somewhere along the way was seduced by the Inside the Beltway establishment.

With a reelection coming up he will follow the playbook and send out an undiluted conservative message. However, if reelected, all bets are off.

Murkowski voted FOR cloture but voted against everything subsequently (Reid’s amendment and the bill).

“Cornyn probably started out as a good guy but somewhere along the way was seduced by the Inside the Beltway establishment.”

That happened when he was pulled into the leadership, of either the NRSC or of the Senate.

McConnell, like McCain, is a corrupting parasite!

"we need to win elections"

Not with Republicans that support liberal bigger government agendas.

When it was he and Kaye Bailey, Cornyn looked so much more conservative, by comparison. This hid the true John Cornyn who had really been a “moderate” Republican and more importantly he was “in” the Texas GOPe.

Caught him on Cspan a few days after Cruz’s 21 hour speech, asking Cruz some floor question to say how strong a conservative Senator he really was and how he supported Cruz. Hogwash.

Wendy Davis made a tactical error by running for Governor. She had a better chance of defeating Cornyn, as Tea Partiers will be sitting on their hands (unless he has a primary opponent).

Praying Louie Gohmert runs for the Senate against Cornhole.

************

Doesn’t seem that Gohmert is interested but things can change his views but it
has to happen shortly as the deadline for the primary filing is Dec. 9, 2013.

But Gohmert insisted he was not planning to run for Senate — nor, he added for
good measure, for president, though he said supporters had urged him to consider both.

“Before I dive in” to a race, Gohmert said, “I need to feel it in my heart. I don’t
feel it in my heart right now.”

He added, “It’s not on my radar.”

Many years ago my husband and I stopped sending money to political organizations. You never know where the money will end up, even if a conservative heads it up for window dressing. Money needs to go to individual candidates that you know believes as you do.

When we would get calls from the various committees we would just say, heck no, not for that bunch of liberals!

That sends a very clear message.

Don’t forget that Larry Elder went hat in hand to Cornyn, volunteering to run for Senate in 2010. Cornyn kicked him to the curb in order to back Fiorina.

With a reelection coming up he will follow the playbook and send out an undiluted conservative message.

With the election OVER a year away, the sitting Senator has already started running "I am a conservative" (if only during election cycles) radio and TV ads! Cornyn KNOWS that he is toast in Texas!

When he went against Cruz, Texas saw that he was nothing more than another Kay Bailout Hutchinson! She didn't run for re-election because she KNEW she was going to LOSE; hell she couldn't even unseat Perry as Governor!

If we can get a decent CONSERVATIVE challenger like Louie Gohmert or Ted Poe, then Cornyn is DONE! And it couldn't happen to a better RINO currently representing Texas!
