Cornyn claims that FreedomWorks does a disservice by encouraging "republican violence" i.e. by supporting and funding conservative challengers to moderate republicans.
Yet Cornyn endorsed Arlen Specter and Charlie Crist and funded Lisa Murkowski over the republican nominee.
He says "we need to win elections" Yet he supported or endorsed every moderate over every conservative when he was head of the NRSC.
PLease let there be a primary candidate against him!
The radio ads have already started, trying to paint him as a conservative. We need a primary opponent to get behind. There is energy in Texas right now to get rid of RINOs.
I agree with your assessment about Wendy Davis.
Her running for Governor is actually GOOD for Republicans! She has no chance to win the Governorship in Texas, BUT, she is going to pull money away from sources that would otherwise go to other states and other candidates. I love it!
Republican candidates stabbed in the back:
Add Charlie Summers in Maine to that list
Notice I said “praying” for Louie to run against Cornball ;-)
What good is it to win elections if it still leads to liberal political ends being advanced by the Congress? Cornyn is a disgrace.
I heard this interview on Matt’s show. Cornyn was flustered by Matt’s questions and that’s why he abruptly hung up on Matt at the end. I think Matt is right about one thing - Cornyn is not in touch with the people of Texas and what we are looking for in a Senator. He clearly does not like Cruz, but he would never say that. He has been running lots of ads on the conservative talk radio stations stating how conservative he is and what a great Senator he has been. He is scared and he should be. I will support whoever runs against him.
Also noticed you said ‘cornball’...
