LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Until very recently, the National Park Service was one of the least-loathed government agencies in the country. Now, with orders from on high to keep the public from visiting beloved parks and monuments the agency is developing a poor reputation.

It what looks like a spiteful move, the NPS even removed handles from water spigots along the Chesapeake and Ohio canal where bikers and joggers exercise as well as along the Great Allegheny Passage, just to ensure people don't get any water from them...

Insane....and these puppies obey. Kinda like how the Taliban works.
For those who dream of an armed revolution in the U.S., these government employees have shown us whose side they are eager to take - and it sure isn’t that of patriotic Americans. Worse yet, these Park Service weasels are paid with our tax money.
Note that these people are the ones carrying out this nonsense....so you can bet any large civil uprising will be met with a stronger arm.
So much for people saying Americans wouldn’t stop it....they are!

Once Congress gets back in session, pass a law disarming all park rangers. When did the h*ll did they get weapons? Probably part of the Patriot Act. Citizens, there’s NOTHING patriotic about the Patriot Act.

Just read your post after posting myself saying about the same thing....this is not only showing us what other Americans can and will do...it’s also showing Obama who will or not do as he says.

If there’s anything good to say about their pettiness it’s that it has to be converting many to Conservatives and Republicans.

At many parks around here, they shut off the water this time of year, just in case of freezing pipes, etc. Just sayin’ it might have nothing to do with the shutdown...
National Park Service workers have gone from good guys to bad guys. They deserve to lose their jobs and everything they own.
