Will Obamacare become plot fodder for CBS’ Hostages and Under The Dome? A $500,000 grant awarded this week to USC Annenberg Norman Lear Center’s Hollywood Health & Society program certainly suggests it’s a possibility. In the latest push to get Tinseltown to promote President Obama’s Affordable Care Act, the decade-old program has received the money from the private California Endowment to give Hollywood producers, writers and execs details about the newly launched health insurance initiative. “Our experience has shown that the public gets just as much, if not more, information about current events and important issues from their favorite television shows and characters...
Hollywood Health & Society says that it will use the cash infusion to educate industry pros and track how often Obamacare shows up in TV dramas. It also will be used to produce pro-ACA PSAs in conjunction with series’ storylines.

Who the hell watches Primetime anymore? Most of the shows now are just crappy soaps that should be on around 12:30 for the stereotypical welfare recipients.

.... Yup .... and those same cult followers don't even realize that this compassionate all encompassing Affordable Care Act .... doesn't even cover Dental or Vision for most people!!! That will be an added expense if a person actually wants it!!! Heck .... I bet their collective jaws will drop when they realize this. Of course they won't be able to see their own rotten teeth cuz they will probably also be vision impaired and not able to afford corrective eyeglasses due to the high cost of their premiums.

Using our tax dollars against us? something new? no not really. If you watch most of the crap on TV and in the movies there are plenty of propaganda senarios, plots and comments. One comes to mind the not so rescent TV drama about a prosecutor who represents the low information voter and pushed the social justice theme, anyone remember the name of the show? It was so unforgetable it was cancelled and I cant remember the name

Honest to God, broadcast TV sucks! I got Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, some sports streaming sites and Redbox. This has totally eliminated the need for me to have any cable and by using these three I still get my favorite shows. Remember, if you’re buying cable you’re supporting MSNBC, MTV, Comedy Central and other leftist trash. Ala carte is the way to go pick what you want and support the programing you choose!
