Labrador on ABC's This Week: 'Very Difficult to Work With Obama'

Idaho GOP Rep. Raul Labrador was back in front of the TV cameras this morning, this time appearing on ABC's This Week With George Stephanopoulos.

"We're four days away from reaching the debt ceiling. We gave the president an offer where we would extend the debt ceiling without any requirements ... and I don't see why the president is not accepting that or working with us," said Labrador. "I think it's been very difficult to work with [Obama]. He wouldn't even come to the table to negotiate."

And Labrador wasted no time to bring the debate surrounding the federal government shutdown and the deadline for hitting the nation's debt ceiling back to the Affordable Care Act.

"If you look at Obamacare, the president has given exemptions to friends and businesses," he said. "All we're asking is to give the same exception to the American people. I don't think that's too much to ask."

Minnesota Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison, sitting alongside Labrador, was having none of it.

"We can talk about all these things after we reopen the government and pay America's debts," said Ellison. "There are a number of things we could do, but we can't do them under the gun we're under right now."

"We just offered you a six-week extension," countered Labrador.

"Six weeks is no good," responded Ellison. "Do you want to do this again in six weeks? That's crazy."

I’d guess that he is an extrovert as to speaking to an audience but can’t remember anything so he needs the teleprompter. Actually, I’d guess he is about maybe a 120 to 125 IQ with the ability to confuse and argue because of his Chicago political background. They all are either crooks or liberal mouths with much to do...

Of course he is not smart, that would take a much higher IQ than he has much less his education based on racial preference. Don’t expect the media to ever out that...

The result is that we are saddled with a President of minimal IQ but has the backing of the Media because of his color and we have to suffer for years because of that - actually many years to come because of this fiasco. I actually blame the Media for all of these problems. May they feel the wrath of those that follow.

Bathhouse Barry's attitude is comprehensible in the context of a narcissistic, homosexual male who feels a sense of endless entitlement, yet thinks he is being disrespected by all those mean ‘Pubbies. In other words, Tooty-Fruity is throwing a hissy fit.

I don't think it's that high, as the range you cite is usually classified as superior. I'd say he's probably slightly higher than a dull normal. Just listen to him attempt to formulate a cogent thought - - he can't do it.

Anyone who has ever negotiated anything should he hearing: "We are not negotiating anything, anytime, anywhere." The Dems are playing end game politics. The Levin theory seems to be coming into focus. They want Obama to raise the debt ceiling by EO. They want a crisis. This is their last play before Obamacare becomes reality and people realize what has been down to them. Republicans should sit and watch the implosion.

That gives me an idea. Dock the pay of Obama and Congress for the time since the “shutdown” started, and I expect they’ll end it in a hurry! And if they still refuse to reopen the government, the pay cut will help to reduce the deficit.

“Negotiating with Obama is like playing chess with a pigeon. The pigeon knocks over all the pieces, craps on the board and then struts around like it won the game.”

I hope you don’t mind if I use that line, the next time I’m on Facebook, LOL.
