The Bible says that everyone is accountable for every idle word—especially lies. I do not recall the same thing being written in the Koran though . . .

Mny believe that we are Taxed Enough Already and resent paying for more Food Stamps which are part of Bammy's personal, political EBT Card that needs to be shut down.

“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. government can’t pay its own bills. ... I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase America’s debt limit.”

Sen. Baraq Obama, 16 March 2006

This is exactly the opposite of the truth.

Allowing the government to spend more causes them to print more money causing inflation which devalues the dollar and acts as a “tax”.

Holding the line on spending avoids new taxes.

So he wants to pee on the Christmas selling season, with retailers hanging on by their fingernails, just so he can blame it on those who oppose him.

What a POS.

It is not necessary to default. We have PLENTY of money coming in to pay the interest due on the current debt.

We don’t have the money to pay for just a whole lot of things that are, frankly, luxuries and indulgences, and in some instances, buying nothing at all of continuing or lasting benefit.

What everyone should understand is that by giving so much away to non-producers and allowing the debt to skyrocket - Obama has already put a confiscation of wealth tax in place it just hasn't been Codified yet.

Pay the interest, downsize, and kick the can as far as it has to go until Americans start electing people who know how to manage and grow America’s wealth as well as spend it.

As Milton Friedman said, the rate of government spending is the rate of taxation.
