I voted for McClintock. His only problem was that in a TV world, he has "crazy eyes."

I forget the exact percentage, but he got a good amount of votes. If everyone that voted for Arnold just because “he could win” had voted for McClintock instead, he would have been governor.

And then we repeated that miserable cycle with Romney.

What do you mean, 'we', paleface? (heh heh heh...)

I've only voted for two Republicans in the last 30-some-odd years --Ronald Reagan and then, Tom McClintock.

I wouldn't take two plugged nickels for the rest of `em.

“So well stated. Thanks.”

Thanks, but the credit goes to one our the best conservative writers, Daniel Horowitz.

Schwarzenegger got 3.7 million votes. Bustamante got 2.4 million. McClintock got 1.0 million.

George B. Schwartzman came in 9th with 10,880.

I now believe that this President would willfully act to destroy the full faith and credit of the United States

But Sacramento is full of Democrats. There is little a Republican can do when the state legislature is jammed with harden Democrats.

Arnold tried introducing bills but was overwhelming voted down by Democrats.

Tom McClintock, while a good guy, would have met the same fate. Face it. Arnold was not the problem, a total Democratic legislature wins.

Well, see post 30.

You’re dreaming if you think there would have been a different result.

"Lucky bastard. My "representative" is Maxine Waters."

Yikes! I'd have to bathe more often if that happened to me.

On a related matter: One reason expenses are so high is that Democrats have stubbornly refused to pass a budget. Instead, they used the abnormally high levels caused by the 2009 recession as a baseline, and counted on continuing resolutions, combined with baseline budgeting, to vastly increase the size of the Federal Government.

If we couldn’t borrow, but collected funds at the projected rate, we’d be back to roughly 2008 levels, which were rather generous.

Obama wants no budgeting—his vetoes and Harry Reid’s antics ensure that—and he wants no backup debt ceiling, either. Oh, while he’s at it, he’d like to eliminate the sequester, admit 30 million aliens, give huge amounts in foreign aid to Muslim Brotherhood fanatics, and refuse to enforce any laws regarding black misbehavior (whether mobs or Pigford farmer fraud).

With the MSM in his pocket, he’s hoping he can win the House and have a dictatorship for the rest of his term, where anything he does will be rubber-stamped.

This is the guy who should have been governor of CA instead of Arnie.

Absolutely.
