Oh how fun. I was in SC, GA in 2011, the weekend of the Talladega race. I almost called in to work to extend my vacation, rearrange my flights to skip over to AL to see it. Oh so close. Maybe in the near future.
My first Talladega, and we got premium seats.

The Dega may really shuffle the points. A couple bigs ones can wipe out chase dreams.

Talladega seems to often have surprise winners. It is really hard to pick for that track!
I don’t really care who wins (except not Kenseth) as long as its someone on my team and not on BSR or Mr. Bent Tubes teams.

BTW weather is clear and beautiful. Lows have been around 20 but the highs have been in the low to mid 60’s every day. Crisp clear Fall weather that’s supposed to last for another week - great BMW convertible weather.

Hey, I got sued out of the blue last year. My family owns a big tract of land in N.Florida that is inherited from my grandmothers homestead inheritance. Someone, 2nd generation sold land in the middle of the inheritance to a scumbag that apparently has had a family feud with my family for a long time. I do not know him at all. Since I am the limited partnership trustee, he sued me and also one of my cousins to “take” property to build a road from the highway to his landlocked property so he could build a residential community. He knew it had no roads when he bought the property. We won, he lost. Beat the scumbags and life is good. Aaah, it has snowed on the front range overnight! And I have a long weekend to sit & enjoy the weather and scenery. This fall has been one of the most beautiful in terms of tree color. Where I work they have a lot of colorful bushes and trees. Breath taking day after day.
And they have Boulder Canyon open. I can possibly get to Rocky Mountain NP.
