The Republicans hand Barack Obama a credit card with no limit.
That’s the fruit of two weeks of phony posturing.

any idiot that voted for this latest monstrosity of a bill is an idiot , and is a traitor against freedom that must be unelected

How do you go from a bargaining position where you say “we’ll give you a debt ceiling increase if you give me x in return” to “forget x you can increase the debt ceiling anytime you want”.
Was it the $2 billion pork for McConnell?
The hits just keep on coming.

he Constitution grants the power to "borrow on the credit of the United States" solely to Congress. That means it's Unconstitutional for the Treasury to borrow any funds not explicitly approved by Congress. It also means the US has no Constitutional obligation or authority to repay any funds "borrowed" without Congressional approval. Potential lenders should fully understand that.

“It would also put an immediate political target on President Obama, and Democrats by association, for being the sole entity responsible for raising the debt limit by over a trillion dollars. That opportunity has got to sound pretty good to Republicans ahead of 2014.”
What planet does this guy come from? The democrats are going to relish raising the debt limit - just think of how many more people they can get hooked on government dope.

these idiots believed the media lies that a default was possible .a default was never possible . they didn't have to even raise the stupid debt limit.
this is a terrible day for freedom and opportunity . the government keeps growing and as government grows freedom contracts, and ability to make money contracts( you have less opportunity). what don't these idiots get about that, that growing the government so much is dangerous to our freedom and to our survival?

running up the debt is only a political issue when we have a GOP president, which pretty much the democrats are planning on making sure never happens again
BTW, why do we need a Congress? Window dressing?

Now that the moocher class has achieved majority status, our choices are more limited.
We either sit back and take getting robbed repeatedly, we flee, or we resist. The ballot box is no longer a viable option, especially now that what we once thought was our party has openly and joyously betrayed us.

The plan includes a proposal offered by McConnell in the 2011 debt ceiling crisis This is 100% McConnell the Whore. It makes the House totally irrelevant in the debt ceiling issue.

What difference does it make?
This whole debt limit thing was a scam from the get-go.
What the hell good is a limit that is raised every time they get close to it?
In fact, they’re already way beyond it, since the official debt numbers haven’t changed for something like 6 months, which is a flat out lie.
FUBO, FUHR, FUJB, FUMMcC, and all the rest of their crooked cronies.
