Hutchison blasts GOP ‘outliers’ who ‘hijacked’ deficit debate (Rove's RINOs on the attack...)
Dallas Morning News ^ | 10/16/13 | ROBERT WILONSKY and MICHAEL LINDENBERGER

Former Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison said Wednesday that Ted Cruz’s push to shut down the government over Obamacare was doomed from the start, a “kamikaze mission” that hurt efforts to resolve the country’s debt crisis.

“Lack of unanimity, even among the most conservative members of Congress, was a fatal flaw in this,” Hutchison said, her most critical comments yet about her successor, Cruz — a fellow Republican, tea party darling and vocal leader against the new health care law.

“Most Republicans wanted to negotiate on the issue of spending and the debt and the deficit,” she said in a Dallas interview. “A few people threw in an issue [Obamacare] that you could not win. It was absolutely clear you could not win it.”

Thank God she’s gone. Remember when she quietly eliminated the funds for the Border Fence Act?? Insidious! Not a word she says should be listened to.

Nonsense.

I didn’t even support repealing Obamacare, and I supported the efforts of Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin 100%.

The Republican party is in a period of rebirth right now.

This was just a part of the process.

Now GOP you’ve got a situation.

Obamacare passed.

There is at least one GOP-care bill over in the House. Languishing.

What are you gonna do GOP?

This blame Cruz game is a tempest in a teapot.

Clearly the GOP needs to have leaders who are more doctrinaire, like the 'Rats do. The main problem is that there is really NO leadership, just 'rat appeasers.

The strategery to elect more appeasers is doomed to failure, especially now that the results of this strategery over the last 25 years are clear.

Who yanked this former RINO senator and failed gubernatorial candidate out of retirement to offer advice and wisdom?

Good thing they got rid of her. They have no fight and totally resent anyone who doesn’t lay down to get run over.

Why doesn’t she blame the RINOs for giving away the store and allow the spending and debt to continue? Why do we report and listen to her stupidity?

We have a bunch of cowards leading the inept Republican Party.

Time to clean house or start a new conservative party.

"Hutchison said voters in Texas and elsewhere are demanding strenuous opposition to the president’s agenda — and expect the kind of passion that Cruz has shown.

“If we pick the right issues to fight on, that is going to be a united effort,” she said. “The error was picking the wrong issue.”"

The GOPe has no real issue that differentiate it fromt eh 'rats.

That the McCain wing of the GOP dominates the GOP caucus in the Senate dooms all efforts to achieve ANY victory.

McCain and his ilk need to be pried out of their entrenched seats by any means necessary.

We did not win any issues, and we were never going to win any issues. We never will without strong leadership to unify the party. We have no leaders, we have no communicators to advance our message, we have no plan except to oppose the democrats.

With people like Hutchinson, Boehner, Cornyn and McConnell this great nation would have never been formed. But they are complicit in the destruction now. John Cornyn will hopefully be on the speaking tour with Hutchinson instead of in the Senate after the 2014 elections.

Kay Bailey Hutchinson CINO speak for: “Most Republicans wanted to SURRENDER on the issue of spending and the debt and the deficit because most Republicans are NOT CONSERVATIVES.”

The left wing of the Republican party has effectively bought themselves a big chunk of Obamacare. The (small r) republicans shall hang that albatross on them every day from now until we can unseat them.

What Hutchinson means:

.......I don’t know? WTF does she mean?

These Republican clowns need to be challenged with question after question about SPECIFICS.

What are you doing to REALLY fight the Obama agenda?
Name ONE accomplishment in this effort?
What was the National Debt when you were elected?
What is the National Debt NOW?
Why should a CONSERVATIVE ever vote for you?

I have “held my nose” and voted for Spector, McCain, and Romney. I will not do it again.

For instance, I can guarantee 16 Conservatives who will sit home if that fat slob from NJ is the Republican nominee.

Cruz's gambit could easily have won and thereby saved the nation the great harm to the quality of healthcare, harm to the economy, and the loss of individual freedom that ObamaCare will cause.
The RINOs don't care, just so long as their position as lapdogs to the liberal elites is not compromised.
Ted Cruz and Mike Lee remain heroes and true patriots.
Hutchison, McCain, Peter King, Chinless Wonder McConnell, el al, will remain self-serving, traitorous weasel scum.
