Democrats need to win 17 House seats in order to recapture control of the lower chamber in 2014. So can they do it? Let's take a look:

The unions and Dem PACs will spend independently of the official campaign, and their budgets are not seen in the figures.
People are giving to individual candidates and not to the “machine”.
Democrats are going to have to allocate big bucks to hold the Senate.
They probably figure the House is out of reach.

Conservative candidates will raise tremendous amounts... the republican party is going to lose donations from all but their corporatist masters.

I’ve heard Mia Love (not sure if she is still a mayor or not) speak various times on TV. I think she’s great from what I’ve heard; and, I believe (though not totally sure) that she was supported by Gov Palin and the Tea Party when she ran for Rep last year. Glad to see she’s running again.
This appears to be precisely what some are asserting; and it is, frankly, nonsensical.
Those who plan to either sit on their hands, when the next election rolls around, or vote third-party, are effectively helping the Democratic candidates in those races in which they are eligible to vote. It is only through the rationalization that there is (supposedly) no difference between the two parties that this may be justified...
Show me where anything that I was voting for was passed by the current repubs.

I plan on doing everything I can to remove my current GOP congressman. If he is on the ballet I will not vote for him.

I’m sorry, Cruz and Lee are not Republicans according to people like McCain, King, and Hutchinson. Did the Republican party issue a condemnation and clarification of the RINOs?
The Republican party worked hand in hand with the Democrats AGAINST the Conservatives. Why would you save that? It reminds me of the woman who keeps taking her man back after he hits her again.
Even that crazy lady they pulled from the House floor has clearer vision than anyone defending Republicans. You cannot have two masters. The Republican Party serves money, not God, not the People. At least the Democrats are honest about their evil intentions.

It is evident that you believe there is no effective difference between the two major parties.

It’s very unlikely that the democrats will have a net gain of House seats and it would shocking and unprecedented if they actually won a majority. The President’s party taking House control in a midterm has never happened AFAIK.
