- Hoping to survive an earthquake, many Californians and people in earthquake prone regions around the world were gearing up for a major earthquake drill. More than 24 million people, including 9 1/2 million in California, have signed up to duck under their desks at 10:17 a.m. local time Thursday, cover their heads and hold on to something sturdy.

They know something. Comet Ison will be starting to fly over in November and it could cause some gravitational problems. Who knows why they are so concerned now? I don’t ever remember a Global Earthquake drill in my 42 years.
Ive never heard of such a thing in my 67 years and I live in California

HAWAII is said to be STURDY...and Nothing beats NEW ZEALAND....
Utah has done this once a year for the past two years. All the school districts, towns, large corporations, organizations, etc. play along. The first time, they played “let’s evacuate the entire University of Utah campus” (faculty, staff, students, most of the hospital employees) and send them to “designated gathering areas” but with nobody in charge and no instructions for what to do once they got there. Ever seen close to 50K people milling around, going “ok what do we do now?” They asked for feedback on the drill. I told them they needed to practice what they would want people to actually do, instead of stupidity.
I just saw a blurb last night about this,, why wasn’t this top news for the last month?
amazing what one can get almost 10 million people to do..
like vote for MoonBeam again.. Heck, aRnie could even make a comeback, so dumb and stoned is the electorate
