Business groups that want Republicans to compromise more with Democrats and Washington's permanent political class on comprehensive immigration reform may declare war on Tea Party candidates by putting money behind moderate and centrist candidates in Republican primaries. According to the Wall Street Journal, groups like the Chamber of Commerce and the Business Roundtable are thinking about "backing challengers to tea-party conservatives in GOP primaries, increasing political engagement with centrist Republicans." The Chamber of Commerce is reportedly "researching" what races they can influence in GOP primaries "in hopes of replacing tea-party conservatives with more business-friendly pragmatists" who would include support for comprehensive immigration reform.

Raising taxes on business won’t hurt them. They will pass it on to consumers - namely us. Not a good idea.
Blooming TORIES the lot of them!
We’ll then, we’ll just have to be selective consumers.
Obamacare will be an anathema for them as it tells the government where they are and they know all it takes is a change of government for folks to start going after them.
They love the roofing and construction jobs because they are paid most paid in cash or by cashiers check so it can't be traced back to the employer.
They have it far better than the average citizen. They know they can't be drafted, have jury duty and know they are hard to sue (they simply move elsewhere).
And they know they want your votes to supplant you. That much is obvious from their demonstrations.
They are bad news for our teenagers looking for their first jobs. They are bad news for the American poor as they know how to scam the system for EIC dollars.
The only reason the Democrat/Progressives love them is they want their illegal votes.
These are organizations like chamber of commerce and associations pushing this crap. Enact revenge against the people in these orgs. Go after these people and their organizations not all downstream businesses. Raising taxes on all businesses in the US is a truly stupid idea.
They sold us out on Obamacare and spending - now they’re going to open the borders.
Then they won’t have to worry about us not voting for them.
And the best part is that the Tea Party will back it. :P LOL!
Go pay your taxes racist pigs, your new neighbors are gonna need the money. :D
Of course, the Chamber are not alone in embracing the Leftist slant involved; but they have more to lose than most of the other analytically dysfunctional parrots of Academic Leftist creeds,
To understand the neurotic compulsion involved: Compassion Or Compulsion?.
In another article, the Chamber are denouncing the Tea Party for understanding, what the Chamber apparently does not, that Obamacare is a very dangerous menace to the Free Market that the Chamber claims to believe in.
They are truly pathetic. Very confused and out of their depth.

Big Hotel, Big Chicken, and Big Prison have replaced Big Cotton and Big Sugar as the major driving forces that dictate racial and cultural demographics.
A plethora of new, illiterate slaves for business to hire at minimum wage. Out with the old, in with the new. “We need skilled employees”... unless of course you can hire them at minimum wage and offer no benefits... then the issue of “skill” becomes moot.
No not raising taxes a on all business just the ones that deserve it. I understand the upper 2-6% is still with us so we wont raise taxes on them but the upper 1% that owns the liberal press or the equally wealthy Repub’s who will not invest in media lets tax them via the income tax. As long as rich Repub’s are promoting amnesty and refuse to invest in media as far as I am concerned they should be taxed more just like the Dem's. And we should keep raising them every year until the border is secure and we have an effective conservative media.
Big Landscape, Big Construction and Big Ag.
They pay state sales and property taxes. Ultimately, the best way for a state to come close to breaking even on illegals is to abolish the state income tax and replace it with higher sales and property taxes, which can't be avoided.
You got that right. They don’t seem to understand a law of politics namely that the weak get weaker until they rebel and the strong get stronger until they collapse. And it happens when they are duplicitous and treacherously coming into bipartisan government and dont listen to the people. This happens every generation. Beginning with the âera of good feelingâ. That was followed by Jacksonian Democracy which created two new parties.
Then they became duplicitous and started compromising with the Missouri compromise etc and their wasn’t much difference between them and again the people rebelled and whole new people took control of the Crat party. The whigs went out of business. Go onto the 1890âs and again their was not much difference. The result was the populist revolt and take over of the âcrats and Teddy Roosevelt taking over the GOP. Then in the 1920âs same old stuff again. The Catholic Bosses took over the Dem’s and the Eisenhower-Dewy wing took over the GOP. In another generation It was a choice and not an Echo and the eastern establishment was swept out of the GOP. On the Dem side the Catholic bosses were swept out by the McGovern commission.
And now here we are 40 years later and their was so little difference between Clinton and Bush so the Obama people took over the Dem’s. And now the feckless duplicitous country club Establishment is about to get what they have coming.
“They pay state sales and property taxes. Ultimately, the best way for a state to come close to breaking even on illegals is to abolish the state income tax and replace it with higher sales and property taxes, which can’t be avoided.”
The problem isnt really the illegals it is the elites. You hit them with an income tax. This is a complete change for me and I never would of thought of even saying a couple of months ago. But the elites who are running this country into the ground should pay for it
If they could freely pass the costs onto consumers, they would have already without the higher taxes and be charging us more. If costs go up $1, they won't be able to pass that full dollar onward without a reduction in purchases. Thus businesses, their employees and their customers all share in the fun of tax increases.
However big businesses love regulations and selective taxation and subsidies which they are better able to handle. Imagine a regulation which cost each company $100,000 no matter what the size. That cost would destroy a lot of smaller companies but not even faze Walmart, which would get a far greater gain at destroying the competition than their cost. This is similar to the lobbyist "tax" where you can only get things done through your people in Washington. Small companies can't afford that so bigger companies pound them with laws and regulations.
Amnesty for ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS imposes SLAVE WAGES on LEGAL IMMIGRANTS.
Some idiots suggest that if the Executives just worked for free, then they could pay all the laborers twice as much....
Let’s say there were only 4 home building Companies in America.
One of them decides to pay all of their construction labor $5/hr. more than the rest.
The result is that all of their home prices are $30,000 higher than the competition.
How long will that company stay in business?
Yeah - uh huh. “Raise taxes on the 1 percent ... The ones that deserve it”. Seems I have heard that before. Nice try.
We need names, e mail addresses and phone #s on all these traitorous bastards and the congresscritters with direct linkage in dollars and influence with these carpet bagging scum ready and willing o sell America out. There are the usual suspects in congress we all know and then there are those who play with these amnesty business types incognito. We need the blinding light of day put on them, by name and position.
Time to go on a RINO/sleaze bag hunting expedition.
