MADISON — Like a Taliban speed dating luncheon, a scheduled meet-and-greet in Madison for domestic terrorist Bill Ayers has been cancelled due to lack of demand.
A staffer at the Madison Public Library Foundation, which had scheduled the event, told Wisconsin Reporter they “didn’t have the kind of interest” they thought they’d get, so they nixed the hour long event.

Tickets were $25 a pop.
Fans of Ayers or pathology can still come out and see the co-founder of the Weather Underground, a group of communist revolutionaries that bombed the New York City Police Headquarters, the U.S. Capitol and the Pentagon in the 1970s in protest of the Vietnam War.
He will speak at 7 p.m. Thursday night at the Overture Center in downtown Madison to plug his new book “Public Enemy.” That speech is free and open to the public.
In a 2008 New York Times revisionist history op-ed , Ayers denied he engaged in acts of terrorism.
“Peaceful protests had failed to stop the war. So we issued a screaming response. But it was not terrorism; we were not engaged in a campaign to kill and injure people indiscriminately, spreading fear and suffering for political ends,” he wrote.
Larry Grathwohl, the FBI informant who infiltrated Weather Underground, said that’s a load of hooey. After describing failed Weather Underground bomb plots that would have caused mass casualties, he wrote: “Bill, like Charles Manson, never exposed himself to any kind of danger. He always gave orders and then left it to his then-girlfriend, Diane Oughton, and others to implement his plan. If you listen closely you can even hear the similarities in the arguments Manson and Billy use today to justify what they did: the 60s made me do it.”
Ayers and President Barack Obama were linked together in the 2008 presidential campaign when Sarah Palin famously accused Obama of “palling around with terrorists.”
Ayers and Obama have denied having a substantive relationship with each other. In his new book, Ayers wrote:
“Bernadine and I had hosted the initial fundraiser for Obama and uncharacteristically donated a little money to his campaign,” Ayers said. “We lived a few blocks apart and sat on a couple nonprofit boards together. So what? Who could have predicted it would blow up like this?”
This is the UW-Madison campus we are talking about. And that place has ALWAYS been a hotbed of anarchists and Progressives, back to the days of the La Follettes and before.

La Follette Sr. WAS the moving force of the Progressive movement, as governor and later Senator from Wisconsin, with a lot of his agenda covered in “the Wisconsin Idea”, which boiled down to its very essence, was the reduction in the numbers of “low-value people” (like American Indians and the descendants of African slaves, for whom he had no use whatsoever), and the elevation of an “elite” governing class, family dynasties and the like, because of the “superior” genetic endowment. A lot in common with Ku Klux Klan, except there was no religious element involved. The Progressives were “free-thinkers”, despising any association with religion, and particularly Christian religion, in any form.

Use of the word "uncharacteristically" makes it even more unlikely they would have donated to anyone who was not a fellow bomb-throwing revolutionary at heart, someone bent on reforming America.

September 11, 2001 “I don’t regret setting bombs. I feel we didn’t do enough.” Ayers is quoted in a New York Times article.
THE FACTS:
16 February 1970 – Bombing of Golden Gate Park branch of the San Francisco Police Department, killing one officer and injuring a number of other policemen.
6 March 1970 – “bomb factory” located in New York’s Greenwich Village accidentally explodes. WUO members die, including Ayers’ girlfriend, Diana Oughton. The bomb was intended to be planted at a non-commissioned officer’s dance at Fort Dix, New Jersey. The bomb was packed with nails TO INFILICT MAXIMUM CASUALTIES UPON DETONATION.
October 20, 1981 - Brinks robbery in which several members of the Weather Underground stole over $1 million from a Brinks armored car near Nyack, New York. The robbers murdered 2 police officers and 1 Brinks guard. Several others were wounded.
He admitted he was guilty in 1982! Then he told the NYT in a 9-11 article that he set bombs but didn't do enough!
Now in 2008 he tells the NYT it wasn't terrorism!? Even his scum-buddy obama would say making and setting off destructive bombs (at least one loaded with nails designed to kill non-coms at a dance!) that actually killed people is terrorism you bold, effing liar.
I'm guessing he might not have been AT the 1981 Brinks robbery, but his people were involved.
I wonder if obama was in NYC in October 1981. His Columbia "records" (likely revised) say he started a year later. He claims he was in Pockeestahn in 1981.
I wonder if he was involved in the Brinks holdup and is using the Pakistan excuse as an alibi. Nyack, where the robbery took place, is a nice little ride up the Hudson from NYC.

They didn’t just serve on Boards together, they got each other appointed to Boards. Michelle worked at the same law firm as Ayers’ wife — sweet Bernardine who famously made a ghastly (but favorable) comment about the Manson gang dining with the freshly slain Tate and LoBianca bodies.

shows obama starting at Columbia on 09/01/1982. That means he had more than a whole year off from when he left Occidental in mid-1982. What did he do for roughly 15 months? How did he graduate from Columbia in three years? He certainly was not an excellent student.
