KOS hates responsibility unless it is responsibility to some do-gooder oversize nanny government. Get a clue, there is a difference.

And God does the OPPOSITE of Satan.

Satan kills; God gives life.
Satan steals; God gives gifts for free.
Satan destroys; God rebuilds.

I think we know where the wise vote is. Most problems with God come from where we don’t want God to truly be our Master. But God is the only safe Master we can have. We will have a master, no matter what. But we get a choice as to what that master will be. (And it can’t be our prides either... that will also go to hell.)

I understand exactly what this forum is and I was trying to engage you in debate over personal liberties and personal responsibilities. You on the other hand have hidden at every turn. Lurk for a bit, it will do you well.

I merely point out that you display all the signs of refusing the love. God is shining His love at you right now. YOU are saying no to it.

Matthew 7:1-5
Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.
-------------------------------------
Luke 6:37
Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven
-------------------------------------
John 7:24
Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.
-------------------------------------
Titus 3:2-7
To speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people. For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, ...

I offered you some simple ways to show your sincerity.

Like what has Jesus done for you? Can you even say? Is He your master, blessing you beyond all you can think or imagine, or only viewed by you as a club to hit others over the head with? Because those who will not confess Him before men will not be confessed by Him before God.

You sure seem to mouth those scriptures emptily.

I’m not being absolutist here. You might just be a very weak Christian. But your defense is not a bunch of inapplicable Scripture. Your defense is a good offense — Christ. Show what positive good He has done for you. If you can.

By the way, apply all those to yourself too... that would be an excellent idea.

You are fighting soooooo hard for a “state” solution to that which you do not like. It is my opinion that we need to get back to the days of letting people fail in consequence to their decisions without a safety net. You however are speaking volumes to your desire for more government; be careful. That government is already turning on you (and I, and everyone in this country) yet you are in stitches over what someone does with their personal life when we have laws upon laws upon laws that cover literally every aspect of our lives CURRENTLY!!!

For example — are you moved with wonder, to tears of unspeakable gratitude, when you sing Amazing Grace? Or do you just think about how wonderful you sound?

And don’t be afraid to brag on the Lord. That’s what drives Satan bonkers. That’s what undermines the power of all these idols that you (rightly) hate. It has nothing to do with “religion” or “denomination.” It’s just about the power of God. It helps of course to go to a church, but a relationship with God is portable. He follows you around 24/7.

Look, Bud, I want to be kind.

You did give me an Amen when I pointed out that the Cross was agape love. I saw some hope in carrying on from there.

But what kind of Amen was that? An “Amen, we are so Proud that we have the theology right”? Or an “Amen, the love bowls me over”?

Or even “Amen, it gives me a quick thrill” (which would be better than nothing)??

I mean what is it? You should be glad to share your witness. For me, God’s love bowls me over! It makes me strong! It gives me endurance! It plans wonderful things for me I had never dreamed I could or would get! It is the very door to a heaven that I already welcome in my heart! It puts the yeehaw in my yeehaw! Oh, friend, I wish you knew personally how great it is, and if you don’t, then ask the good Lord to help you do that. You might just be weak. I was weak at one time too and hardly budged at the thought of God’s love. But God’s love never stopped. It kept teaching me till I was greatly moved, and will not stop teaching me till the day I die.

And if I am a bit clumsy in the way I present it, that is my fault, my sin, and yet I know I am already forgiven. And you are forgiven for any slowness on your part. But will you give it to the Lord. You will have to yield sometime. Better sooner, than later.

Agree. It’s all about responsibility but most parents no longer teach it so it’s not something everyone is prepared to deal with, sadly. I don’t condone smoking it but I have read about the many good parts of the plant that are very good for you. Hemp oil in particular has been known to cure cancer, heart disease and a host of other health problems.

Rick Simpson of Canada has several videos on YouTube about it. Look up “Run from the Cure” and you’ll understand what I’m talking about.

Hey Girl. (or grill?)

If the parents don’t believe in the entity to whom true responsibility is owed — God — then of course they can’t teach it.

Now that’s not the only way someone can get to know God. But it’s a chief way that the Lord has instituted. “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he shall not depart from it” — a proverb, which is not a promise, but something that’s true frequently enough to be worth paying attention to.
