I agree with you in that the more we define the activities of man (as productive and non-productive), the more progress we will make.

In fact let’s carry it on. What carries the spirit of the Lord and what carries the devil.

The stark fact is that INANIMATE OBJECTS can be used by LIVING HUMANS for EITHER purpose. A drug, a gun, a tool, or what have you. Stereotyping objects as evil only stultifies freedom.

I don’t think it is so much any of “us” defining the activities of man, I think it is the government acting in such as way that “classes” of man (and woman) are not held to consequence for the actions. When we can actually get back to personal responsibility (i.e., answering for bad decisions made) applied evenly across the board, problems tend to take care of themselves. All we are left with today is a government that coddles bad behavior and I can very well see why it pisses a LOT of people off; especially people who are doing everything right with no recognition.
