Hillary Clinton stumps for Terry McAuliffe
Politico ^ | October 19. 2013 | EMILY SCHULTHEIS and MAGGIE HABERMAN

Posted on 10/20/2013 9:22:09 AM PDT by yoe

Hillary Clinton made her first campaign appearance in nearly five years on Saturday to support Terry McAuliffe, her old friend who’s running as the Democratic nominee for governor in Virginia.

[snip]She laid out a case for him that rested strongly on women’s equality, gay marriage and rejecting the “scorched earth” politics that have defined Washington over the past several months. Though she didn’t directly call out Republicans, it was clear who she was talking about when she said some politicians have been operating in an “evidence-free zone”, “do not believe in America’s progress” and are trying to “hijack” the future.

[snip] Though most of her remarks were in praise of McAuliffe, Clinton also hinted at themes of a potential speech for her own national campaign, focusing on issues spanning the work of her entire career. The Iowa caucuses, of course, are still two years away and Clinton insists she hasn’t decided whether to run.

Terry McAuliffe and the Clintons, three consummate politicians totally adept in the art of chicanery - a mirror the unacceptable in politics....or should be.

Can’t wait to see her debate Crazy Joe. Especially when he has that maniacal grin on his face.

Hillary Clinton is a troll. Everything she says is exactly what a troll would say. Get back under your bridge, Hillary.

I have to laugh at her comments about divisove leaders and all that. In theory it would be nice to see leaders who can be unifiers. However, does she really see herself as some sort of unifying figure?

In the 2008 primary season, Hillary Clinton had some of the highest negatives ever recorded for a amjor party presidential candidate. It’s laughable to think that she could ever be a unifying figure.

I wish a cabal of Democrats could get rid of the Clintons. Go to them and tell them that their time has come and gone. That the upheavals of the Obama era will only intensify if she insists on running. That Hillary is not entitled to be president just because she is married to Bill and put up with his &&**. That was her choice to put up with his issues. America does not owe her the presidency as a reward for her sticking it out.

Mmmmmm....MUSTA SEEMED LIKE OLD TIMES---
WHEN HILLARY CAMPAIGNED FOR LOSER MCAULIFE--
losing candidate for the 2009 gov nom.

=====================================================

Virginia TV airs 2-3 McAuliffe ads against Cuccinelli ads---McAuliffe must be spending easily ten, twenty, fifty times what Cuccinelli is spending.

Oh, yeah---McAuliffe's got zillions at his disposal.

McAuliffe is apparently polling well---and prolly receiving mucho campaign cash---from the "dearly departed" b/c a lawsuit Democrats filed says “the [VA State Board of Elections] is rushing to complete the purging of dead voters in time to have the desired effect on the upcoming gubernatorial election.....to make sure that those who no longer live here don’t vote here."

(cackle) The "dearly departed" are also Hillary voters.

The buzz is Terry is 2016 Hillary's place-keeper. If elected, graverobber Terry will insure she has the votes to win. (That's after he rapes the VA state treasury.)

The desperate Clintons are no doubt financing their old buddy McAuliffe.......b/c the Clintons have three (count 'em) three tax-exempt foundations worth millions to siphon off money from.

THIS MADE ME LAUGH OUT LOUD Then-SoS Hillary and Obama used US military personnel, military equipment and military facilities to overthrow the government of Libya.

SO WHY IS THIS A BELLY LAUGH?

B/c it's really, really odd hearing Hillary and "military raids" in the same sentence. Hillary is a major proponent of "Smart Power"....... or as it is laughingly known: "Democrats winning the foreign policy objectives without firing a shot."

================================================

Behold what "Smart Power" hath wrought: Obama's careening and incomprehensible handling of the Syrian crisis.....doing a Costa Concordia with US ntl security and foreign policy. Obama outed himself as naive, isolated....and outlandishly stupid. Not to forget then-Secy of State Hillary's part in the "Smart Power" debacle.

Democrats' 'Smart Power' Lies in Ruins; Suddenly
Realizing What They Miscalculated About the World:
Everything

National Review | Sept 3, 2013 | Jim Geraghty / FR Posted by kristinn

....... Democrats are suddenly realizing that their foreign policy brain-trust completely misjudged the world.

Being nicer to countries like Russia will not make them nicer to you. The United Nations is not an effective tool for resolving crises. Some foreign leaders are beyond persuasion and diplomacy. There is no “international community” ready to work together to solve problems, and there probably never will be.

You can pin this on Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Susan Rice, but most of all, the buck stops with the president. Those of us who scoffed a bit at a state senator ascending to the presidency within four years on a wave of media hype and adoration are not quite so shocked by this current mess.

We never bought into this notion that getting greater cooperation from our allies, and less hostility from our enemies, was just a matter of giving this crew the wheel and letting them practice, as Hillary Clinton arrogantly declared it, “smart power” (and fronted Time magazine cover).

(These people can’t even label a foreign policy approach without reminding us of how highly they think of themselves.)

They looked out at the world at the end of the Bush years, and didn’t see tough decisions, unsolvable problems, unstable institutions, restless populations, technology enabling the impulse to destabilize existing institutions, evil men hungry for more power, and difficult trade-offs.

No, our problems and challengers were just a matter of the previous hands running U.S. foreign policy not being smart enough. (Excerpt) Read more at nationalreview.com ...

===============================================

OH, BTW, AT THE SAME TIME Smartpowertics, O and HILL, staged military raids in Libya, they gained access to the National Bank of Libya. (No, no paper money there---just solid gold bars. Solid Gold. Not the Chinese tungsten filled bars that flooded the gold market).

They’re selling abortion and gay marriage as society’s greatest goods, and the people are lapping it up - even in what was once the conservative south. The country is done for.
