Planned Parenthood of Northern New England trained seven existing employees as navigators and has hired and trained three new staff members, said Jennifer Frizzell, policy adviser for the organization.
In the first week of enrollment, one navigator in Manchester had 45 appointments but she wasnt able to enroll anyone online because of the glitches.
Navigators are using paper applications, but are not telling people to submit them. Instead, they are using the papers and appointments to educate people about how health insurance works and the terms they will need to understand, such as premiums and copays, and how the tax credits and subsidies will work, Frizzell said.

Can I ask a stupid question?
It wasn’t too many years ago that the internet didn’t exist. And so, signing up for any government program required paper forms.
Is there any provision for “downtime” procedures, or the use of paper forms, since people are having so much trouble doing this registration online?
Just a thought.
Filling out a paper application and handing it to an Obamacare “Navigator” invites identity theft. You will have 6 new credit cards and 4 student loans within a week.
Planned Parenthood and ACORN-type leftists raking in more taxpayer cash. Anyone shocked?
The leftist organizations always depend on funding from government.
FYI: The alien (Richard Keil) was from the 60’s Twilight Zone episode “To Serve Man”.

You want ACORN to have your bank account and social security numbers?
lol
“navigator” is another word for “communist”. The lefties really know how to screw-up language.
HHSs Latest High Tech Obamacare Fix: Urging People To Apply Over The Phone
Naturally the cost to apply by phone is astronomically higher than the online method the White House was crowing about prior to the rollout.

Id imagine they’re focusing on the latter two as opposed to the former two. There is no way in Hell people that don’t pay for anything are suddenly going to start paying for this. I’ve watched urban people throw tax returns (that we had prepared for them for free) into the garbage when they learned they owed money instead of receiving a refund. They simply weren’t going to pay, and just like the massive welfare fraud the government wasn’t going to do a damned thing about it.

I thought it meant “no marketable job skills; will agitate for pay”.

I think it’s a safe bet the credit score isn’t there for the cards...
It will be truly miraculous if the government is able to get people to pony up the money for this.
So an organization that specializes in helping women kill their babies is now going to ‘help’ us stay healthy through a non-existent medical program. Yep, think I’ll march right in there and give them all my personal financial and medical information at the earliest opportunity.
Educating consumers...I read an article last week (somewhere in the South..Atlanta area?) where the ‘navigators’ have to spend a lot of time on basics...like explaining the terms “Premium” and “Deductible”. Tells me something about some of those trying to enroll....what??? you mean I have to PAY???????
o, I wonder if we are paying them for NOT enrolling people or are they being paid on a per/person basis?
My understanding is that only the website can tell you the subsidy you are eligible for. Without the subsidy where taxpayers will pay your premiums, the cost will have the moochers running the other way.
Drudge headline: Busy signal for ‘hotline’ number provided by president...
