A $125 dollar stipend, what an insult. Later in the article, it was clarified that the $125 stipend was a monthly amount which would equal $1500 per year. From the article:
The retired workers receiving the $125 monthly stipend in place of full benefits could still be eligible for subsidies under the ACA ...

I'm a little slow on the pings today. I've apparently got Cholera or the Hanta virus or something.
Michigan legislative action thread

I can hear the wailing now...”But, I was always a good Democrat; I volunteered and donated, helped with stuffin’ the votes in the back room of the union hall, and even beat up on some Tea partiers! Now you’re gonna put me on the serf plan instead of the congress plan? You can’t do that!”

That is almost as insulting as Social Security paying out $250 dollars for a burial.$255, IIRC.

“Why should Social Security pay anything for a funeral?”
Why should taxpayers pay anything for useless, fat-ass government bureaucrats?
To: cripplecreek
I've apparently got Cholera or the Hanta virus or something. No treatment for you, 'creek. Obamacare operatives know you are a ping list operator on the terrorist website. You're a prime death-panel belt notch for some faceless bureaucrat, after the IRS loots your belongings. Adios, bro. / some sarcasm

DISMANTLE/DEFUND the leviathan.
He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.

I don't get truly sick very often but when I do it puts me down hard. Thank God for good neighbors who knew I was sick and came over and installed a couple of winders for me. I've got two more to put in but I don't have an 8 foot hole in my wall.
