Danvers schools closed after teacher murdered (MA)

Salem News & Danvers Patch have the name and pic of the kid—if indeed those are correct (probably are but I’m just covering my butt here). Due to state law the name can’t officially be released (yet); he may be charged as an adult though under a new law. Ch 7: he carried the victim out of the school and dumped body into the woods. In a trial or arraignment they are trying to make it that cameras do not show him.

suspect is Phillip Chism; he is to be arraigned
in a Salem court this aft. and will be held till
at least his next court date in late Nov.

Heard on Howie Carr Show that he transferred to the school just two weeks ago. He and his mother just moved to MA from TN. His mother is a psychologist or psychiatrist.

I wonder what they were leaving behind.

This was not some deprived black kid. His familiy was living in a very nice house. Photos at the link////////// File under psycho-killer who has no idea why he did it. His mind is dead to the world.

OK-—What kind of ADD drugs or other legally prescribed drugs was he taking? My bet is this will be the case and part of the defence

You have to be pretty enraged to kill a 24 year old woman on the spur of the moment with a box cutter.

Enraged as a person with a chip on his shoulder might get when convinced the woman spurned his advances because she didn't like the color of his skin.

To millions of people in this country the appropriate penalty for racism is death.
