That's just more international double-speak. This country isn't going to say BOO to the Saudis. WE are their biggest buyers. They have the petroleum and natural gas; we have the need for it.
How will that EVER change? Southern California would split from the UNION if that ever happened and would establish its own ties with the Saudis, just for the GASOLINE to keep L.A. on their freeways.
Keep in mind that all OPEC has to do is suddenly refuse to accet US dollars for their oil and our reserve currency status is history.

A severing of ties with Saudi Arabia is just one more puzzle piece that inevitably has to fall into place for this new world order to form and which accelerates this new global alignment.
