It seems like for Will, NOT supporting gay marriage (or as they now say — “marriage equality”) is a disqualifier.

I’m trying to understand why the Libertarian is running against Cuccinelli.
I’ve heard Libertarians admit voting for democrats due to the social issues and legalizing pot. Fiscal Conservatism must rank low for them.

His actions on that issue alone should be enough to put him over the top.

Apparently Va. is LOST.

Well, golly gee. If polls made up of low info voters who have been fed line after line of MacAuliffe lies about how Cuccinelli will take away their birth control pills, then I guess George Will is right on the money.

Will knows perfectly well that Sarvis has as much chance of winning the Governorship of Virginia as he does winning the next Powerball drawing. George Will wants a corrupt, gun-grabbing liberal slime over a decent, ethical candidate.

He can go pound sand.

Why does Will right that "Cuccinelli is far from the best choice for Virginia?" That will only make voters believe it.

Syndicated columnists don't write their own headlines -- because different papers will devote different space (and differently shaped space -- e.g., 1 col, 2 col, 3 col)) to their columns.

Thus, in this case, the headline is a product of the Washington Post's headline writer. And, yes, he could've just as easily written "McAuliffe is far from the best choice for Virginia". But he didn't -- because he works for the Washington Post.

Mark Levin is talking about this column now. Giving George Will a much-deserved pounding.

Exclusive—Poll: VA Gov Race A Toss Up
http://www.breitbart.com ^ | 24 Oct 2013, 7:12 AM PDT | by Mike Flynn

Posted on Thursday, October 24, 2013 11:22:33 AM by Maelstorm

A new poll, provided exclusively to Breitbart News, finds the Virginia Governor’s race a virtual dead-heat, with Democrat Terry McAuliffe leading Republican Ken Cuccinelli 41%-40%. Libertarian Robert Sarvis garners 10% and 9% of likely voters remain undecided. With less than two weeks to go, the race is a toss-up that will likely be decided by turnout, a critical factor in an off-year election.

The poll comes from Wenzel Strategies, which accurately predicted closing momentum for Sens. Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Deb Fischer, among others. The slight edge McAuliffe holds is due mostly to stronger support within his partisan base. 81% of Democrats support McAuliffe, against just 68% of Republicans who support Cuccinelli.

Cuccinelli’s support seems be building, however, has public attention moves away from the recent government shutdown to the failing implementation of ObamaCare. Cuccinelli was a leading national figure suing to overturn the health care law.

The closeness of the race is apparent in the millions spent by left-wing groups to support McAuliffe in the closing days. In addition, Hillary and Bill Clinton, close allies of McAuliffe have made themselves permanent fixtures in the Commonwealth campaign on his behalf.

“There’s a reason the Clintons have been called in to spend a week campaigning for McAuliffe and that Bloomberg is pouring in millions with 2 weeks to go,” Brian Baker, President of Ending Spending Action Fund, which commissioned the poll told Breitbart News. “Their internals must be showing what our poll indicates — that his unfavorables are high and they must try to suppress Cuccinelli turnout to prevail. All indications are that the numbers are closing, especially post shutdown. The focus will be where the undecideds go and what will Sarvis draw. With the race this close, the poll indicates a vote for Sarvis is a vote for McAuliffe.”

Dear George,
Cuccinelli may be far from the best choice but
he’s also far from the worst choice which would
be a democrat.

“It is way past time that people stopped listening to or reading the crap that is posited from idiots like George Will.”

Or the Virginia polls for that matter. Cruz was down and out in the TX polls too, if memory serves. He crushed the Lt. Governor.

Speaking of Cruz, Cuccinelli would have made the right choice had he campaigned with Cruz when he visited recently. As far as I’m concerned, Cruz is the foremost adult in DC.

As Obamacare drags us down, it will become more apparent how correct Cruz was on defunding this horrific law and standing and fighting in bold opposition to Obamacare.

Just look at this pathetic law and it’s abysmal results, and we’re only two weeks into it! My God! The Obamacare quagmire is devouring our fellow citizens by the millions before our very eyes!

It’s called dislocation and it is upon us.

Republicans shunning Cruz is the ‘pastel’ difference Reagan warned us about.....
