Steve Fisher doesnt call it the Affordable Care Act. He calls it the Insurance Takeover Act.
The rollout of so-called Obamacare has many consumers scratching their heads and many individuals and small businesses discovering their health insurance costs under the laws changes will be higher than in their current plans, said Fisher, who is president of the Pennsylvania Association of Health Underwriters.
The cost for subsidizing (the uninsured) is huge for those who are healthy and can get insurance now, said Fisher, an insurance broker with The DJB Group in Meadville, Pa.
Theyre going to have a rude awakening. My clients are saying to me I thought this was supposed to be cheaper. Well, it was. But its not.

It should be repealed or implemented according to statute.
Its hurting that bastard now and will hurt him even more as its rolled out.
Obama lies. Why would anyone believe anything he says? He lives in a Marxist fantasy world.
ON HOLD?!!! Like hell. Kill it and repeal it.
The problem now with Obamacare is that it will destroy everything else and leave us no choice but Single payer.
That was the plan and it is working.
It was not supposed to be cheaper. It was advertised as cheaper, but it was supposed to be far more expensive. ObamaCare will be exactly what it was supposed to be - an expensive and catastrophic failure.
Anyone who looks at ObamaCare objectively will know that covering more people, for more conditions, and over-insuring everyone so that they have little or no incentive to limit use of the medical system will increase costs. There was no other possible outcome.
Need more to suffer before the low info voters wake up!
Sad but true!
I am not as stunned as others to see these so-called professionals who are just now discovering just how awful this mess is.
When Sarah Palin sounded the first alarm with Betsy McCaughey right along with her, all anyone wanted to do was to believe the media and not do a little homework to find out who was telling the truth.
Many here were on board as well. We knew the nightmare coming at us and we stayed awake and vigilant. Reading as much as we could to find even the smallest way of traversing the minefields as even they kept chaging through the more than 20,000 pages of regulations piled on top of the 2000+ page bill.
So to idiots like this insurance “proessional”;
WELCOME TO THE PARTY PAL!
-——Obama lies.-—
Of course he does, often, but I wonder about Obamacare.
A lie is a purposeful untruth. Where as if you zealously believe something to be true with no information to the contrary then it is not really a lie.
Obama had no clue, no real first hand information on what he was selling. I have come to believe he is reading what was written that had no basis in reality. He did not craft Obamacare.
He has never crafted anything. The reason is he can’t. Obama is totally incompetent to craft anything. He is basically worthless to do anything but read a speech and be worshipped because he is black.
So if he makes false statements - you can keep your plan if you like it,etc- but he believes them, he is not lying, just wrong? He was repeating lies made up for him. He was telling lies.
The insurers saw a pool of captive prey—now they have a disaster. Tough. NO ON DELAY!!!!! They broke it, they own it.
DEFUND OR NOTHING.
I don’t think those writing the speeches knew any thing either.
The input providers actually believed you could keep your plan and your doctor.
There will be no single payer. When this is done there will be no one left to pay taxes to support single payer. We’re all in a burning house waiting for the fire to burn itself out.
I guess this guy is seeing the light, his job is in serious doubt.Well pal you can always get a government job running single payer
The Underwriters just realized that they will go the way of the buggy whip when obama is through with his “risky scheme.” (We should be using that term. It’s been gone far too long.)
There won’t be any insurance companies for which they can underwrite. The gummint will give just enough health care to the peons through the new gummint hospitals to keep them busy complaining.
These guys think putting it on hold will help. Only if it allows the progressives to be kicked out of the Senate in sufficient numbers to let us totally stop it.
Agreed!
All of those clients, and there are many of them who have been jolted by the truth, will be discussing this topic this Thanksgiving and Christmas.
They will be sitting around their tables fuming about the numbers and the reality that what Obama says is not the truth. Their liberal family members will try to defend Obama and his healthcare takeover but will not succeed.
Why do I know this? I recently took a trip to visit relatives and I was rather amazed that people who generally do not talk politics were discussing Obamacare and they were highly upset. One works in medical device sales and another is in home healthcare. Two more at the table were on Social Security. The only liberal at the table said nothing. What could she say?
Two hours straight were spent talking about how bad AHA really is when somebody said, "We could talk about this all day, let's get some desert." But, somehow the conversation kept going back to Obamacare.
Yep, it ought to be a really interesting festive season this year.
When you control the media that feeds the low brows you can say anything. This has been the way of the left for years, pump their heads full of crap and they will believe it. Keep their minds occupied with the hollywood ,mtv crap and that is all they need. Remember this new generation of youths don’t know what work ethics are, they don’t have a clue about respecting anyone that has a work ethic. the only thing they know is what they see on the idot box.
