Wallace shows reporter Peter Doocey interviewing young people on the streets of DC, regarding the healthcare.gov website.

Several respondents said they would pay the $95 fine.

==

Per some posts, the fine is $95 OR 1% of the total family income, whichever is larger.

Those who think they only have to pay $95 may be in for a rude awakening, come next IRS Tax Day.

Some quick math:

$95 would be 1% of $9,500 or $4.57/hour for a full-time worker. [Who works full time and earns only $9,500 per year?]

At minumum wage ($7.25) the annual salary would be $15,080 for a full-time worker. At 1% their fine could be $150.

The median household income in the US is $51,371. At 1% their fine would be $513.

The fine increases "more than sevenfold in the next two years, with the fine running as much as $695 per person by 2016. The family maximum would be as high as $2,085 (or 2.5 percent of family income, whichever is greater)." [source: CSMonitor.com

Notice how the pols and Admin never mention the 'percent' fine -- they only mention the $95 fine.

So the Marxist Congressman tells Chris Wallace that “Andrew Stryker” was paying $600/mo for his insurance and now under Obamacare is saving $5000/yr. So his unicorn insurance is giving him $500 in welfare, guess who is paying for it.

First, there likely is no Andrew Stryker and second that was his answer to why did Obama lie about keeping your insurance. The ends justify the means. This is pure Marxist insanity.

Pray America is Waking Up

Wallace: ‘at least 10 Democrats, DEMOCRATS, are calling for a delay of Obamacare ... ‘

Two weeks ago, these same ten Democrats went on record to vote against any delay. I would look closer at how they actually voted instead of the rhetoric they now offer to detract attention away from their votes.

Juan is pulling stuff out of the air to support his position. He keeps saying this or that ‘may’ happen regarding health insurance.

So far, little of what Juan claims holds up. Britt points out that that people are not being allowed to keep their current coverage, as Obama promised. Juan’s response is that they may like the new policy better.

[Juan, Obama LIED. Regardless of whether the new policy is better or cheaper, Obama LIED. Many cannot keep their current coverage, as insurance companies are dropping thousands of policy holders every day.]

Not so fast, LLS. In case you didn't follow it closely this week, David Gregory spoke heresy on Morning Joe, Wed., iirc, with the blown rollout of ObieCare, asked is government too big ?

He even asked if "Republicans were right ?"

This sounds like the theme for MTP. Let's see if the regime has gotten to him and set his mind right before air time.

Another good point.

Yellen’s confirmation is a chance to publicly reveal details
of Democrats Economic Policies and how
they haven’t work, and ask her
to acknowledge each fact.

Rick Santorum just spouted the establishment GOP line about Cruz on MTP...about good intentions but bad tactics.
The tactics that will give us both houses of congress next year and the impeachment, removal and frog march of Obama in 2015.

I voted for Rick in the South Carolina Primary...quoth the raven-nevermore.

Exacta mundo here are the increases
No one knows how many Americans will be without health insurance in 2014. A 2012 estimate by the Congressional Budget Office estimated that about 30 million Americans will not have insurance in 2016, and roughly 6 million of them will face penalties. The penalties for individuals are expected to increase each year, and the uninsured will have to pay either a fee or percent of household income (whichever is greater).

In 2014, the fee is $95 per adult or 1 percent of household income.

In 2015, the fee is $325 per adult or 2 percent of household income.

In 2016, the fee is $695 per adult or 2.5 percent of household income.

So the fine is a bargain no matter what! The regime will have to bring the fine up to three or four thousand per year and then try and collect from tax refunds unless they want to sequester one’s paycheck! That should be real winner! Many will just pay fines forever since they can sing up anyway if they get sick.

and then try and collect from tax refunds

That is one of those 'we gotta pass it to find out what is in it' gotchas.

The current law apparently says collection will ONLY come from tax refunds. You can bet Congress will slip an amendent in some new monstrosity omni-bill to adjust that provision.

RE: MTP Gregory.

I must commend him today. He's grilling the supporters of the rollout, including the KY governor Beshear who's had a large response. Gregory notes "most were Medicaid". Gov. Kasich follows with some truth. Gregory seems to get it.

Since we are over a year away from any election DNC Dave, fat Chris and a few others are all being fair and balanced for a few weeks until a big issue comes along. Then they will revert back to their old ways of all commie all the time. For now enjoy who DNC Dave really should be since it won't last.

Yeah all those collections will degenerate into underground economies which is what zero is creating anyway.
