Ousting pro-amnesty Red-State RINOs (Graham, Alexander, Rubio, Hatch, McCain): Primaries Priority #1

Posted on 10/28/2013 5:55:35 AM PDT by Javeth

As primary season rolls in, our Priority #1 must be to replace the abominations of RINOs in Red States with actual conservatives-- having an Obama-bootlicking liberal like Lindsey Graham in a state as solidly conservative as South Carolina, or a spineless wimp like Lamar Alexander in a reliably Red State like Tennessee, is even worse than dealing with a Democratic Senator. The Democrats could never win a Senate seat in such solidly Red States after all, so these are essential power bases for us to elect reliable conservative Republicans to carry the conservative standard through the socialist, Constitution-wrecking mess that is Capitol Hill. Instead, our Senate seats in those states are wasted on Trojan Horses and traitors like amnesty-loving Graham, Alexander, Jeff Flake and John McCain in Arizona, Marco Rubio in Florida, Orrin Hatch in Utah, Kelly Ayotte in New Hampshire and John Hoeven in North Dakota.

This is a travesty and does incalculable damage to our movement. A true Tea Party conservative on the GOP ticket would easily win the general election in these solidly Red States, so there is no political risk and absolutely no political reason to allow Graham, Alexander and the others to hijack our Senate seats there. It was just such a grassroots movement in Red State Texas that empowered the state's conservatives to elect Ted Cruz in the primaries and the general election, one of the most solidly conservative representatives anywhere in the legislative branch.

I really get tired of media hacks and pundits who accuse us of being "purists" for taking such a stand, and they miss the defining detail of this-- we're opposing RINOs like Graham, Alexander and McCain because they're occupying seats IN RED STATES. While I personally don't like Chris Christie in New Jersey, I can tolerate and understand his political moves (up to a point) because of his position in a blue-ish state. Graham, Alexander and McCain however, have no such excuse. They are from some of the most conservative states in the Union and have no reason to hedge or hem and haw about being conservative-- in fact they have an obligation to be solidly conservative to reflect the solid conservatism of their states.

Instead, traitorous Senate RINOs like Lindsey Graham, Lamar Alexander, Orrin Hatch, Kelly Ayotte, Bob Corker, Marco Rubio, Jeff Flake, John Hoeven and RINO-in-Chief John McCain betray our trust and our votes. While there may be several litmus tests to single out their RINO-ism, I'd say the most reliable is the traitorous vote by each of them for that abomination of an immigration reform mass amnesty bill (full name: Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act) in the Senate in June 2013. That bill betrayed virtually every principle of the conservative movement-- spitting on the rule of law (with big juicy rewards for lawbreakers), disrespecting the US Constitution, putting foreigners and corrupt foreign interests (like that H1b bribery visa) before the interests of Americans, making big government even bigger (the 20 million+ amnestied illegals would be put on Obamacare and state benefits), overburdening our communities and crippling state and local rights in favor of federal power. The betrayal is especially blatant by the Republican members of the so-called Gang of Eight-- Lindsey Graham, Marco Rubio, Jeff Flake and John McCain. GOP Senators in supposedly more purple-ish states like Ayotte in New Hampshire also have no excuse-- just about everybody in New Hampshire, not just conservatives but also Independent and Democratic voters (including Latinos and other minorities, who also rejected John McCain in 2008 despite his pro-amnesty bleating), hated the repulsive anti-American, anti-Constitution immigration reform bill, yet Ayotte ignored them to instead go and carry water for Barack Obama and his dangerous socialist agenda.

In short, any Republican who voted for that immigration reform abomination is by definition a RINO, so one need only look at which Senate Republicans voted for it (including all the names above) to see who we need to focus on for defeat in the upcoming primaries. Our #1 target for defeat must be Lindsey Graham in South Carolina, who's ripe for suffering a humiliating (and well-deserved) defeat in the 2014 South Carolina primary. He's not only a pro-amnesty member of the Senate Gang of 8 but also a disgusting liberal sycophant who's repeatedly acted on behalf of President Obama on issues like "climate change" and just as appalling, backing up Obama in his attempt to wag the dog back in September, invading Syria as a way to distract from the impending disaster of the Obamacare rollout. Graham would be a traitor and a stain on our movement from any state, but from conservative South Carolina, he's a sickening Trojan Horse.

South Carolina's primary system is complicated and open, so it isn't easy to oust incumbents there, but as the primary season moves along, there will be a conservative champion against Graham that we must all rally around and support in any way we can. (This goes for all the primaries-- don't just vote for true conservatives in them, actively work for and support them, organize around a single conservative champion in each state, contribute to their campaigns, volunteer on their behalf.)

Given South Carolina's conservative credentials, the GOP nominee will be elected so in effect, the battle for the Senate representative from that state is at the level of the GOP primary. Thus it's of great importance that we defeat the Obama-loving liberal Graham resoundingly. As a bonus, stupid senile RINO-in-chief John McCain in Arizona is more and more depending on his girlfriend Linda Graham to carry his own water in the Senate, so by ousting Graham, there's a good chance that RINO McCain will despair and not even run for reelection in 2016. Lamar Alexander from conservative Red State Tennessee should also be high on the list in the 2014 primaries, as he's very vulnerable, an amnesty-supporter and also a wimp who clings on the vests of liberal Democrats in the Senate because he's afraid of being "left out" of the cool liberal Beltway crowd.

In the 2016 and 2018 primaries then, it'll be the turn to target and defeat Orrin Hatch (a pro-amnesty and H1b RINO from solidly conservative Utah of all places), Marco Rubio (a disgusting, lying, pandering fraud and member of the Senate Gang of Eight from a state conservative enough to elect Rick Scott), Jeff Flake (pro-amnesty RINO from of all places, the conservative Red State Arizona that produced Barry Goldwater and the pioneering SB1070 legislation to arrest illegals where the federal government wouldn't), Kelly Ayotte (another pro-amnesty RINO fool from "Don't Tread on Me" New Hampshire), Bob Corker (another pro-amnesty RINO wimp like Alexander from Tennessee), John Hoeven (pro-amnesty RINO wimp from conservative North Dakota) and of course, neocon RINO-in-chief John McCain of conservative Red State Arizona, who of course needs little introduction.

Again, one of the most satisfying aspects of ousting RINOs like these-- an absolute necessity for our movement-- is that this also carries very little political risk, as they hail from Red States (and mostly from very solidly conservative Red States) that would enthusiastically elect an amnesty-opposing Tea Party conservative to the United States Senate in their place. Ousting these RINO Trojan Horses in the primaries is equally as important as boosting the Republican majority in the House of Representatives, and defeating vulnerable Senate Democrats like Kay Hagan in North Carolina, Mary Landrieu in Louisiana, Mark Pryor in Arkansas and Jeanne Shaheen in New Hampshire.

Also, as in any year, focus especially hard on getting conservative Republicans elected to statehouses, state legislatures and local government posts. The simple fact of modern politics is that the GOP controls the House of Representatives due to Republican governors and state legislators who gained control of many states in 2010, and thus were able to draw Congressional districts in a way that favors our interests. So let's organize at the state level and work doubly hard to elect Republican governors and state legislatures in the coming elections as well. It is the only way we'll defeat the socialist onslaught and preserve American values and the Constitution in the difficult years we have ahead, and it's up to us to fight and succeed.

I can find not a word to disagree with in this vanity. A few thoughts might be added. A few of these Rinos should be executed in order to encourage the others. Evidently, Mike Lee and his victory in Utah could not teach the rest of the party a lesson. Too many of them think they can do what John McCain did, run to the right, declare the "damn fence must be built," gain reelection and veer to the left.

Bill Bennett just terminated his morning radio show the main thrust of which was that we ought to be very reticent about terminating Rinos because we need every Senate vote we can get. This was echoed by Ann Coulter who has been flirting with Rinos for quite a while now.

Concededly, the Senate is a very difficult place to enforce discipline along party lines. Nevertheless, it must be done. The shameful exercise of Senate Rinos running to the microphones to declare that the efforts of Mike Lee and Ted Cruz , which had not yet begun, could not possibly succeed were unforgivable treachery. Not only did they doom the efforts to fail but they cut the moral ground out from under those who wanted to defund Obamacare by suggesting that the whole effort was somehow illegitimate and by suggesting that Obama's obdurancy in defending Obamacare even at the cost of shutting down the government was somehow legitimate. Somehow because of these Rinos, the issue became why would Ted Cruz want to shut down the government?

That sort of treachery means that you do not even have a party. That disagreement was not over tactics that disagreement was over fundamental understanding of the role of government. The Rinos flunked the test. Worse, it was an effort by the establishment of the Republican Party to neuter or even destroy Ted Cruz before he could become a viable presidential candidate.

In addition to defunding Obamacare the author raises the issue of amnesty. These two issues together with abortion and raising taxes (making 4) should be the absolute acid test which, if flunked, disqualifies any candidate from Republican Party support. That includes incumbents. If the party will not discipline its own than the tea party will.

Do not leave Texas Senator JOHN CORNYN off of this list. He is one of the very worst. As Minority Whip, he did NOTHING to help stop or slow down the Senate Amnesty Bill. He also did the same on the efforts to DEFUND Obamacide.

Yep, I listened to the Bennett show this morning, as well, and had the same conclusions.

I like Bennett but sometimes he seems surprisingly naive.

I use Senate confirmation votes to identify people who are dangerous to the nation. If a senator voted to confirm one of B O’s Supreme Court nominees, that concentrates enormous anti-Constitution and anti-American power in the hands of one USSC justice. B O’s nominees were chosen by B O for their ideological extremism and their willingness to not only ignore Constitutionality in their decisions but to actively weaken the Constitutional law and protections of Americans. They are a grave danger to America and senators who confirm them are simply bad.

Now that 300 million Americans are being secretly spied on by the Rouge Marxist Obamanation Administration, there are thus 300 million Americans that do not trust Obama.

Is this massive distrust enough for the US Congress to hire a Special Prosecutor to investigate this National Security Spy Apparatus?

What more does it take for our gullible, lethargic RINOs to draw up the Articles of Impeachment for Obama?

Do they not realize that the RINOs are in control of the US House of Representatives?

They have the Partisan DUTY to be a “Check and Balance” by use of their duty to Impeach a Constitutionally offending White House Resident.

Now that 70 Million French Citizens, and like number of German, and Spanish citizens have been spied on by the Rogue Marxist Obamanation Administration, there are well over 100 million European Citizens who do not trust Obama.

As head of the Rogue Marxist Obamanation Administration, this loss of trust is the sole responsibility of B. Hussein Obama.

Should Impeachment Proceedings begin in the US Congress to Impeach for Dereliction of Duty “B. Hussein Obama,” aka Barry Soetoro, a legal citizen of the Sovereign Nation of Indonesia?

If the American Citizens do not trust Obama, and our main European Allies do not trust Obama, then what more is the US Congress waiting for before starting Obama Impeachment Proceedings?

How sweet it would be to tie, in the minds of the Low Information Voter, the Democrats who voted for Nationalizing 1/6 th of the US Economy to this Democrat Cash Cow, Mandatory Insurance Tax Law!

The Leftstream Media currently controls the minds of the Low Information Voter by controlling the powerful COURT OF PUBLIC OPINION POLLING CORPORATION, commonly known as COP-O-PC, pronounced “Cop O’PC.”

Right now Obama can do anything that he wants to do because of the “White Guilt” of the Leftstream Media, and a “White Guilt” mentality of jelly-spined Congressional Democrat’s Republicans.

Thus, all of the focus is directed to the incompetence of the staff that Obama has hired to protect him from knowing anything about the signature Law that he is so proud of.

It is the perfect “I know nothing” do-loop designed for gullible, jelly-spined, Red Ink, Congressional, Democrat’s Republicans such as Susan Collins, McCain, Graham, McConnell, Cornyn, Boehner, Cantor, Ryan, and New York’s Peter King.

Link Democrats to Obama’care,’ and maybe the Low Information voter will remember that it was the Democrats that wrote it, voted for it, and then it was Democrat Reid shut down the US Federal Government in 2013 to keep it from being defunded by cowardly, Cave-In, Congressional RINOs.

The Democrats have wanted this ultimate-control, Marxist Law for nearly 100 years, and now that the Democrats have rammed it down our throats we Conservatives must see to it that the Democrats are clearly held responsible for the great harm that this failed Law has already done to America.

Here’s a full roll call list of the RINO traitors who supported the amnesty immigration reform filth:
http://news.yahoo.com/senate-roll-vote-immigration-001936584.html
http://bigstory.ap.org/article/senate-roll-vote-immigration

In addition to the shameful names above, we also have Mark Kirk from Illinois (no excuse for him, Illinoisans like in other states from all parties hated that bill), Susan Collins from Maine (no surprise there), Lisa Murkowski from Alaska (unbelievable insult from her coming as she is from Sarah Palin’s state!), Jeffrey Chiesa from New Jersey, Dean Heller from Nevada (a fool as well as a RINO traitor given Nevada’s massive problem with illegals and crime) and Roger Wicker from Mississippi. AFAIK only Susan Collins is facing a primary in 2014 (and she richly deserves an embarrassing primary defeat), but the others will be facing the music soon enough. (Good point also on Cornyn, as Whip he had the power to push off that sickening bill and mobilize opposition for a filibuster, which he distinctly didn’t do.)

Of all the names on that list— Roger Wicker? From deep-Red Mississippi? I wonder who paid him off— or maybe this was a case of Obama’s NSA (pre the Snowden revelations) digging up enough dirt on him to sway his vote? No matter because it’s no excuse, he’ll have to be taught a lesson just like the other pro-amnesty Red State RINOs with a stinging primary defeat. It’s hard to think of anything more vile than selling out the conservative cause for the sake of cheap labor, the globalists, the cultural Marxist MSM, lobbyist goodies and whatever big-government perks these RINO idiots are probably seeking out. We don’t take kindly to traitors where I’m from, and all of these RINOs deserve not only a primary defeat, but a deep and powerful humiliation for their betrayals.

When it comes to Lindsey Graham, we should be mobilizing to take him down even before we have a single conservative champion in the South Carolina primary to organize around and support. This means attacking him vigorously in op-eds and letters to the editor in the South Carolina media, with public posters and rallies, at the state conventions and meetings, humiliating him on talk radio, using signs and bumper stickers to express how thoroughly we despite him. If we make it clear that Lindsey Graham is not welcome and humiliate him sufficiently, then we can take him down even before we have a clear conservative alternative. Again since this is South Carolina, we don’t have to fear the prospect of “splitting the vote” since the Senate seat is effectively being decided in the Republican primary, and in fact the liberal that we most need to defeat is Lindsey Graham himself! Let’s take down this RINO early and often, that way it’ll be that much easier to select a reliable conservative in the primaries as a replacement.

This is all true. However, the system can corrupt career politicians faster than we can primary them. Only the state legislatures can save our Republic now. Washington is the problem—and they are not going to give up their riches and perks for principle.

Hatch is retiring. He’s not running again.

My hope is that Mia Love takes Jim Matheson’s house seat in 2014 (very likely), and then runs for Hatch’s senate seat.

“Lisa Murkowski from Alaska (unbelievable insult from her coming as she is from Sarah Palin’s state!)”

What did you expect? This is the same despicable b$tch who lost the Alaska primary then used a fraudulent write-in campaign AGAINST official GOP rules, to get the seat back. Joe Miller should be the senator from Alaska right now.

We can’t primary Collins. I hate her as much as anyone else, but its Maine, and her seat is another added to the total required for flipping the chamber. You are not electing a conservative in Maine. They ideally prefer Democraps masquerading as ‘independents’ like Angus King. As somebody has said regarding Krispy. Take what we can get from blue states, just make sure we sideline them and keep them away from the agenda.

As for Roger Wicker. The man is a loser. That senate seat was supposed to go to someone decent, but nobody tossed their hat in the ring, and we ended up with this squish. He is the Johnny Isakson of Mississippi. EPIC FAIL.

But remember, we’re replacing Thad Cochran in 2014 with a tried and tested conservative, Chris McDaniel.

My estimation (if we dont factor in Cornyn) is that Alexander will be the toughest to take down. Goober is universally known and hated. Cochran will likely retire.

But in TN, Lamar has the ENTIRE establishment behind him in that state. He locked it up quickly. He also fundraises like a maniac. Still, I want to crush him... and then his caddy, the Cork.

And let’s not forget, MCCONNELL!!! The Kewntucky kickback Kid needs to be destroyed, not only because he betrays us daily, but because he might lose that seat to Grimey.

I get the sentiment, but that's not how these things work. The single champions will have to take him down, and the public will rally around which one does it the best, and eschew those who attack each other. There is no "we" - until a candiate emerges.

For the record, the Republican Liberty Caucus, who backed Ted Cruz and Mike Lee early in their efforts, has chosen their champion already:

Unfortunately, Hatch and McCain are not running for re-election in 2014.

Thus, we need to attack them from a recall standpoint.

The more points of attack that we can bring to bear on the enemies of the Republic, inside and outside of the Markist Obamanation Administration, the more likely we are to put those enemies on the defensive.

BTW, the only way to win in Politics is to stay on the OFFENSIVE!

Attack, Attack, ATTACK!
