The problem isn’t “did the President ‘lie’”. The problem is he said that existing plans and medical relationships would be preserved, and made no effort to influence the law so this would be the case.
He could have tried to influence the legislation so pre-existing plans and medical relationships wouldn’t be disturbed. Instead, he let “standards be raised”, making existing contractual insurance illegal. That’s what people should be screaming about. He didn’t give a crap about what he’d promised.

Disposable Income that will not get you in the movies or buy you that new car or boat.
To others it is not disposable income. It was for heat in their homes that will now get cold, for food in their bellies that will not be filled, for gas in their cars so they could go to work.
