Secession and Anti-Secession Ping and Prayer list
Stories and commentary both for and against secession.

To be added or taken off this list, please send a FR mail to RKBA Democrat. DISCLOSURE: I'm ANTI-secession in the case of states seceding from the union, but I'll attempt to administer the ping and prayer list fairly for seceshers, ejectors, and anti-seceshers of Good Will. If we had true federalism in this country, none of this secession talk would be happening. Maybe except for CA, which is way too big and should be broken up into at least 3 states.

Democrats want everyone to suffer nationwide, they don't like the idea of states competing among each other for residents and businesses.

Citizens in 11 northeastern Colorado counties are among them. They'll vote on Nov. 5 whether to break off and form their own state. Many are unhappy about liberal state legislation they believe reflects the values of the Denver-Boulder corridor, but not their part of the world.

So why not describe the separation in the reverse terms? We, as the legitimate residents of Colorado, are expelling you all. Be on notice to get a new name.

Wisconsin needs to cede South of I94 (Madison and Mikwaukee, et.al.) to Illinois while picking up Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and perhaps parts of Minnesota north of MSP.

People are losing respect for institutions that don't reflect their preferences and would prefer, to the extent possible, to extricate themselves from them.

And for a lot of them, it's not just the consequences of having lost a political battle, or an election, but the sense that their loss was fraudulent, and/or that the PTB's are infringing on the rights of those who disagree, even when the dissenters are in the majority (witness the ramming through of Osamacare).

God said we’d have division among races, tribes and looks like in the USA between Liberals and Conservatives.

Am thinking the race issues will also become greater here no thanks to this administration for fueling them. We have too many hyphenated Americans.....as I see it be American or return to your own nation and make it yield to your demands.

I'm irretrievably convinced that secession is the only answer. The 50 states have reached the point where the coalition of welfare parasites and trust funded perverts now constitute the majority.Let them have Detroit...we'll take Atlanta.Let them have Oakland...we'll take Omaha.Let them issue an EBT card to *every* resident of the newly formed Marxist States of America.Let them annex Mexico as their 15th state.

Puerto Rico a contender? Only in the minds of ballot box stuffing fantasists. But then it is an NPR piece.

Not to mention the DC statehood movement. And at one point, there was a movement to make New York City the 51st state. (Just the 5 boroughs, not any of the suburbs.)Of course, now that Democrats have been shut out of Gracie mansion for 20 yers, they don’t like this idea quite as much.

I’m not in favor of parts of states joining other states, such as the counties in Colorado joining Wyoming because would not a 51st state create two more senate seats, of which would be conservative? Enough states doing this could really upset the balance of power in the Senate, which is exactly why the commies will try to stop it.

I see something on this order happening anyway. The big cities are typically infested with democrat socialists while the country folks just like their freedom. Sooner or later there’s got to be a divide.

Rabbi Lapin had a great discussion on why Cities tend to be liberal and why it happens, last Friday on Blaze.

Interesting indeed.
