Mother sentenced to 54 years for horrific sex abuse of her own children that she and her Purple Heart recipient husband 'had planned since before they were born'
A Florida mother has been sentenced to 54 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to sexually abusing her children together with her husband, a decorated Marine. Sarah Adleta, 29, was charged with sexual exploitation of a minor. Her retired Marine ex-husband Jonathan Adleta, who was awarded the Purple Heart, was found guilty last month and faces 10 years to life in jail. The disgraced Marine officer, 25, allegedly wanted to have 'daddy-daughter sex', according to graphic details from the trial in Orlando, Florida.

You can be found medically unfit through a Personnel Evaluation Board and receive an unfitting disability rating of 30% or higher. You will be discharged from active duty and either awarded temporary retirement, or permanent retirement.

I think the purpose of mentioning his military honor is to point out the unbelievably large gap between his public and private persona. One expects recipients of Purple Hearts to have a higher standard of behavior. It is shocking when we find cases where they fall so beneath our expectation.

A 25-year-old who served four years overseas as an officer and was discharged at least a year ago? That would mean he was commissioned at 19 or 20. NFW.

I Googled the term Assistant Training Officer Instructor and found this: http://www.famu.edu/cesta/main/index.cfm/naval-sciences/staff-biographies/assistant-marine-officer-instructor/. This article shows the "officer" in question to be a Marine Gunnery Sergeant. So, likely an enlisted position, rather than commissioned.

BUT they may have mentioned PH because if he is actually RETIRED @ 25 he may be missing a part or two??? AND they had to throw in Decorated..
ALSO, instead of Officer, probably an NCO, which is possible.
Surprised he didn’t use PTSD as an excuse but may be a little ‘light’ to be able to take advantage etc etc.
I think this is about the most disturbing case of abuse I have ever read.
I think 54 years is way too lenient.
