Officials from the White House Office of Public Engagement, which reports to senior Obama aide Valerie Jarrett, are now carrying the administration’s gun control efforts. OPE officials hold a regular meeting with the major gun control groups known as the Gun Violence Table.
The weekly sessions often include OPE Director Paulette Aniskoff or official Paul Monteiro along with representatives from Mayors Against Illegal Guns, the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, Moms Demand Action, the Center for American Progress, Organizing for Action and Americans for Responsible Solutions.
The groups are coordinating a November lobbying effort and planning events to commemorate the first anniversary of the Newtown, Conn., massacre last December.
Officials from the groups said they hope to follow the example set by gay marriage advocates — turning victories in a handful of local battles into something that resembles a national movement.

The 10th amendment says that the states have some powers —but gun control isn’t one of them. The 2nd amendment comes first. No infringenent. Full stop.

Yup, Ol’ “Shotgun Gun” Biden every now and then says things that actually make sense.
Well these folks will get a “welcoming” from the gun rights folks.
Obama will get his gun control. Some how, some way, he and his thugs are going around the 2d Amdt an they will put in some sort of gun control. They will use the UN charter and his ability to go around Congress with Executive Orders. But, he is going to do it. His ATF buddies and his other Fed Gov thugs will do it. All part of the New World Order. It is coming. The Bible makes that completely clear. There is absolutely nothing that will stop it. Satan and his partner in crime, the antichrist, will see to it. What you have to do is prepare your eternal soul. The best bet for you is to follow the Lord. The consequences are not something you are going to like in the end. This mess is only going to get worse folks. Nothing . . . tea party, conservatives, military, nothing is going to put an end to this mess. The BOOK makes it clear. It is going to happen. It is already happening. Several books of the Bible tell of the coming days. We are in those coming days now.
Uh, well, guess I’m a bit more of an optimist. The eternal soul prep work needs to be done by the genius who tries to screw with my guns, property, family and well being in general. Names. I always want names. Putting that fear of God in the mindless jerkofps is effective and works to keep them out of my bubble, anyway.
They would simply tell people who get social security, any disability pay, retired military or gov worker pensions, any person that gets gov money, that they turn in their weapons or the checks stop. They know who bought what by the forms we filled out at the gun shop.
Even if you tell them you sold that gun to someone, they are going to say give us proof of who you sold it too. If you can't, oh well, no check. I sold a couple of guns. I know who I sold them too. I saw and wrote down their info from their drivers licenses. I cover all avenues. I am not going to be selling to some convicted felon.
Guns are their #1 target. Get those and we are without defense. They rule. I know people think they can defend against an armed police and military force, but it just is not happening. The Obamawits are bringing in outside military troops to train in our country. UN controlled troops. Those foreign troops will not be afraid to shoot down Americans. They would probably get off on killing a bunch of Americans with pistols and rifles.
I am like you. I wish we had that kind of fire power to protect ourselves. But, I am a retired soldier. I know what a well armed Army platoon can do. They can sweep a city block in minutes. All those dead bodies will not hamper a bunch of foreign, hired, killers. Simple as that.
BS. Your vaunted big government cannot even pacify 3rd world wrecks like Afghanistan. High tech bs cannot defeat a determined enemy.
Dream on Mr. Know it all. You will see. The reality of what is coming is going to slap you in the face. Then you will know the truth. In fact, Scripture makes it clear that in these times “scoffers” will be in force. I put you in the scoffer group.
