NY Post ^ | 10/31/13 | Geoff Earle

With his signature health-care law under fire, President Obama flew to Boston Wednesday in an effort to remind the public that ObamaCare is modeled on the plan of his former GOP opponent and Massachusetts governor, Mitt Romney.

“Your law was the model for the nation’s law,” Obama told supporters in Faneuil Hall on Wednesday.

This will be the drum beat.
By June of '14, the media will be saying that ACA was just buggy and now it's wonderful.

Yeah...except romneycare is NOT the model for odumbocare.

The only reason rcare succeeded at all is because of infusions of fed dollars in the form of more medicare payments.

Who is going to subsidize the fed system of coming failure...aside from creating more bernake paper monopoly money?

Sadly, Paul46360, I rather imagine you are correct. If this thing gets its fangs much deeper into the US economy, it will be impossible to undo. Much like all the other FedGov giveaway and wealth redistribution plans.

Is this Obama’s admission that Romney should have been President? I mean, if Obama is willing to admit his signature piece of legislation belongs to someone else, is he also admitting he himself is only capable of stealing other’s ideas?

The 24/7 news cycle has us all a bit distracted by the trees, making the forest hard to see.

This includes Obama & his comrades, who have abandoned any normal discharge of duty in order to protect his bone china-brittle ego via the usual avenues of attack, distract and blame.

History will look back and marvel at the man’s petty grudges and constant evasions. He will become synonymous with finger-pointing and bearing false witness.

We keep waiting on the curtain to fall on this farce (or at least the end of Act I) but the tragicomedy continues.

Having exhausted the practical, theoretical and chronological limits of blaming his predecessor, we are now watching the Squirrel Shift (TM) to blaming the man who DIDN’T win the election.

Since Obama is psychologically incapable of praising others, any touting of Romneycare is strictly desperation and sour grapes.

If Mitt was elected we wouldn’t have Romnecare. DemRATS would have been the first to shoot it down.

Since when has MA been a bastion of freedom, to be admired by the nation? This is the nest of vipers such as the Leftist Kennedy clan and Chris Matthews. This is the Official Sheeple Capital of the USA. They gladly trade freedom for government hand-outs. Few other states have demonstrated less interest in defending independence than the Democrats who fleeced the rest of us out of billions in The Big Dig.

In the years since the Massachusetts health care law went into effect nothing has changed my view that a plan crafted to fit the unique circumstances of a single state should not be grafted onto the entire country. Beyond that, had President Obama actually learned the lessons of Massachusetts health care, millions of Americans would not lose the insurance they were promised they could keep, millions more would not see their premiums skyrocket, and the installation of the program would not have been a frustrating embarrassment. Health reform is best crafted by states with bipartisan support and input from its employers, as we did, without raising taxes, and by carefully phasing it in to avoid the type of disruptions we are seeing nationally.

total garbage

Rahm Emmanuel’s serial killer medical doctor brother wrote it
He wants less people and health care is how to have life and death control over people which he thinks is cool

States are supposed to engage in political and social experiments which is why they were given the 10th amendment. After 15 or so years of fine tuning projects and laws, maybe then such a projects can be proposed to OTHER STATES to have their legislatures consider it for their states. Not now, not ever the federal government to copy it.

Like watching your children set fire to the forest and you as parents repeat it just becuase your children were successful in burning down the forest.

They also blame the Republicans for the individual mandate. That is why I keep this for ammo:

Don’t Blame Heritage for Obamacare Mandate
