Obama aims 'wrecking operation' at military

WASHINGTON – President Obama is aiming a “wrecking operation” at the U.S. military, according to a former Defense Department official who was reacting to a WND report about his dismissal of nine generals and flag officers so far during his second term.

And the official was joined by hundreds of commenters who responded to the story with blasts of criticism for the president.

WND reported earlier this week that Obama this year alone has fired some nine generals and flag officers, on top of at least four similar dismissals during his first term.

Retired U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely, an outspoken critic of the Obama administration, explained right away it looked like a part of Obama’s strategy to reduce U.S. standing worldwide.

“Obama is intentionally weakening and gutting our military, Pentagon and reducing us as a superpower, and anyone in the ranks who disagrees or speaks out is being purged,” he charged.

I think the biggest mistake the masses are making is not believing what this enemy of America is doing. Disbelief will be the death of the country.

If Obama leaves office, it will take a decade or more from his departure for our military to recover.

It’s called a purge. This is why 20 million Russians were killed by the Nazis. Stalin had purged all the competent officers. It’s just something you do when you’re a communist leader.

Grounds for treason and impeachment alone if his intentions could be proven but alas he moves under cover of darkness using deception knowing it will be hard to prove. If only a Brutus would appear and report to The People about his evil deeds (stuff like donning his purple robe at night and kneeling before the altar and pledging allegiance to Satan, his 2:00 am sessions with Reggie that make him send one of the Secret Servicemen to the store for Preparation H, his midnight talks with Soros about what his next i structons to cripple the security of the United States are, etc... things like that).

Lying with abandon is characteristic of all despots. They use this ability to fundamentally transform a country to one where everything is under their control. You are right, disbelief by citizenry is one of the main reasons they are able to do it.

By the time they wake up, it's too late. By then a despot will have elements in place to be used to coerce any who would resist, into compliance.

From day one, baraq and his fellow travelers have been setting our country up for a hard fall.
They have been setting the table for either a financial trainwreck or a terrorist attack or both.
Either way, they get an enormous crisis to take full advantage of.
“Never let a crisis go to waste...”
Combine that with the mindset of Obama’s friends, Van Jones, Jeramiah Wright and Bill Ayers.

I think the biggest mistake the masses are making

You can stop right there... the masses are drug-addled, bread-and-circus drones. Free phones, welfare, free food, 500 channels of subsidized cable, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google, Yahoo, ESPN, college football on Saturdays, NFL on Sundays which means fantasy football... and therein lay our problems.

Americans live in a fantasy world. We are doped up, boozed up, sitting on our couches watching trash "reality" TV and neglecting to see the reality outside our door. I am completely convinced that Americans would be perfectly content with the federal government setting up roadblocks and checkpoints in their own neighborhoods as long as they had high speed Internet, cable TV, and mobile service.

We're gerbils living a cage. The government can pull away our water bottle and food bowl at any time, but as long as we've got the wheel to run around in, we're doing alright. Right guys?

...right?

a point where that military was willing to enforce martial law against the people

Not likely to happen that way. The military is being eviscerated so that it cannot effectively OPPOSE a crackdown and lockdown of society. Leftist rulers ALWAYS fear the uniformed military. The rulers of the USSR were no exception. They had a separate internal army to take care of domestic needs and only used it when the KGB and other forces were deemed insufficient. And every military unit had a political unit whose duties included arresting or even killing soldiers and officers who made faintly suspicious moves or randomly to maintain the Terror factor that is a part of every totalitarian system.

We already have that internal army and we have the ubiquitous SWAT teams that are rapidly estranging themselves and their police departments from the public and becoming a functioning army of occupation. TSA, FEMA, DHS are the army that will be used for internal repression. The formal military, as ineffectual as it becomes, will be out of the country engaged in foreign operations, maybe a big war, when the crackdown comes.

Nine generals, a purge? I call it a good start. We've got way too many general billets as it is now.

It took that long to recover from the Clinton Purge and it took that long to recover from the Carter purge. Truman’s knifery was ameliorated because we were engaged in a hot war at the time, but he did it, too. The kenyan’s damage is far greater than that of his Progressive forebears. It will take longer to fill in the holes again and maybe we will face China in major war before it can happen. There is a terrible window of opportunity for China here.

That's how I see I too. Heck, he has that going on to a large decree now, all the while using our forces to help his Muslim Brotherhood brothers in their effort to take Islam worldwide.

And Russia... The Russians are cozying up to our former allies in the Middle East like Egypt and Saudi Arabia as we speak.
