White House officials have pressured insurance industry executives to keep quiet amid mounting criticism over Obamacare's rollout, insurance industry sources told CNN.
[snip] After insurance officials publicly criticized the implementation, White House staffers contacted insurers to express their displeasure, industry insiders said.
Multiple sources declined to speak publicly about the push back because they fear retribution.
[snip] "The White House is exerting massive pressure on the industry, including the trade associations, to keep quiet," he said.
Laszewski, who's been a vocal critic of Obamacare, said he's been asked by insurance executives to speak out because they feel defenseless against an administration that is regulating their business -- and a big customer.

Exactly! The trade associations could have told him to go pack sand. But, those are the some insurance executives who could see a huge opportunity to fleece the people in this debacle, so they just shut up and played ball with the tyrant.
I pray to God that the dems lose the Senate in 2014 and the republicans retain the house in 2014 — Then the hearings will start...and those that have felt intimidated into silence will finally step forward. Then....we will see. The fhit will hit the san and then “the one’s” legacy will get what it deserves...

Knowing full well what was coming down the pike, Guardian Ins got out of the Medical Ins business over 2 years ago. They had no desire to have these Marxist communists tell them how to run their business.
They instead focused on dental and vision care for employee benefits.
