A senior advisor to the Department of Homeland Security, Mohamed Elibiary, says that America is an Islamic country and continues to argue that the Muslim Brotherhood is comparable to Christian evangelicals.
Elibiary is a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council and was promoted in September. He also served on the Department of Homeland Securitys Countering Violent Extremism Working Group and the Faith-based Security and Communications Advisory Committee.
He is also a long-time Texas Republican Party official and was a delegate for Senator John McCain in 2008.
On October 31, Elibiary tweeted that he believes the U.S. is an Islamic country. You can see the screenshot below:

America is NOT an Islamic country!!
America is still a Christian nation and our freedoms are given by our God...among these freedoms are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, not to mention equality before the law.
What did old what's-his-name give to Muslims?
I thought Texans kept a better house than this. “
It is frightening to see all the new mosques being built. Since they always require City planning group authority, they are obviously more entrenched than anyone wants to consider. Muslims and illegals - Rick Perry can take down his “You All Come” sign down anytime now.
death cult cabinet member bump
Mohamed Elibiary : “... I do consider the United States of America an Islamic country with an Islamically compliant constitution.
Golly! Its great to know this a$$clown declares our constitution to be compliant with his sick religion of Islam. NOT! Our Constitution IS NOT a form of Theocracy that Islam is! Our constitution authorizes a subordinate central government that serves the states and its people. That authority protects, guarantees and defends state sovereignty, individual liberty & freedom and the inalienable rights of the people! Sharia law and Islam is a complete opposite!
Mohamed Elibiary is an IDIOT and a LIAR!
Muslim Brotherhood are an inhuman creed of butchers and tyrants and an enemy of the state and our way of life. And if Mohamed Elibiary truly believes the MB is similar to US evangelicals then he should be stripped of his citizenship, deported and added to our list of enemies.
Though the US constitution was conceived by moral deeply religious and God fearing men who were just and moral... our constitution remained secular and embraced NO religion but was created for a moral and religious people.
Our Constitution combined a secular government with a society based on religious values.
I don’t think our founding fathers were thinking of Islam at the time since they embraced Judeo-Christian values and Hebrew Law.
John Adams: “... Because we have no government, armed with power, capable of contending with human passions, unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge and licentiousness would break the strongest cords of our Constitution, as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
It is you, Mohamed Elibiary who should MOVE ON... out of my country! You don’t belong here!
RINOs have always been weak and submissive on Islamic Terrorism....GW Bush many times made the false statement “Islam is a religion of peace”.
The GOP has been just as Dhimmi as the Dems
Seriously, when the Republicans are back in power, immigration from Muslim countries, and by Muslims from non-Muslim countries, should be zeroed out.
If you read the details of the story, the Republican party is pretty compromised too.
