Israeli military forces destroyed a cache of Russian missiles that the Syrian government was reportedly prepared to deliver to the militant group Hezbollah, U.S. officials confirmed Thursday.
The officials stressed that the surface-to-surface Russian-made missiles were under Syrian military control in a stockpile at a port near the Russian naval base at Latakia.
The officials said this attack is expected to follow the usual pattern of several other Israeli strikes against Syrian missiles that were apparently on their way to Hezbollah neither the Israelis, Syrians nor Hezbollah are likely to acknowledge the missiles ever existed or the strike ever occurred.

Read Obama regime says. Israel has nothing but crickets and frogs on that statement.
Israel is doing all it can to forestall the day when they would be forced to use neutron weapons on south Lebanon.
Israel knows what a red line is, when it is crossed, and what to do about it.
I believe that is quite accurate, but begs a question...
If Israel as a chosen people survive the coming conflict (which they will), and the present government of Israel supports the Biblical position and faith of Israel (which it appears to largely do)- who will be the ones who rebuild the Temple prior to Armegeddon?
Clearly Obama doesn't want the Russians or Chinese to think it was us.
Israel will destroy Hezbollah destined missiles when they can track them, but generally much farther south and when near or in Lebanon.
A provocation by Israel on the same day the Syrian government met their first compliance deadline on dismantling their chemical weapons apparatus.
I don’t know about the temple.
But I’m certain that Israel will survive.
I believe that the world’s most advanced nuclear weapons are in the Israeli inventory. This would include very small, very low-yield neutron devices that can be delivered by artillery, cruise missile, drones, and placed as land-mines.
Israel has a particular need for low-yield neutron weapons since any future desperate battle is going to take place either very near Israel’s borders or even within those borders. There is probably an Israeli neutron device that a man could hold in one hand.
And Israel does not have merely atomic weaponry but compact thermonuclear devices. They probably have thermonuclear weapons deliverable by submarine using cruise missiles. These probably have a selectable yield of roughly 50 to 800Kt.
Why would anyone doubt Israel’s nuclear arms abilities? A bunch of Jews invented the things after all.
A showdown is coming and I pray a Conservative is in the WH when it does.
Brought to you by a tinfoil moment
All I can say is, long live the true Jewish spirit as it is associated with the oldest civilization in human history and if they do not survive no one will either. I am not Jewish myself but I have studied their history quite thoroughly and over the years came to appreciate what they have contributed to the advancement of the human race. I have also very little doubt that sooner or later there will be a showdown between the forces of good for the advancement and betterment of mankind and the destructive forces of evil such as (i)slam as well as socialism which create nothing but grieve and havoc as nothing good came ever out of it.
The title says it all: Russia is arming Hezbollah.
If we had a leader - we don’t - this would be serious business.

Israel know that they can’t count on the US to watch their back so they have to be proactive.
Your surmisings have substance.
The prophecies will be fulfilled, we have but to apprehend them.
An opening has to be created for movement on the Temple Mound.
The islamic interests would need to get out of the way (by way of military defeat); or
The islamic interests would agree to some peace solution that appears to honor both religious traditions
The Jews are defeated negating any need for such compromise.
Or, some solution which our Lord has selected and we do not yet apprehend. Praise God.
