The acceptance of Homosexuality in this time has amazed me.
I would never have believed that Fudge Packers would have gained such acceptance.
When even some Church’s have ignored their Bibles so they can accept Homosexuals as Preachers, and make them Bishops of their Church, to me it is just unbelievable.
Yes, we are witnessing organized religion moving the goal post once again, this time in accommodation of sodomites. Because after all, they don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. That would impact the membership numbers, and the coffers too.
Here’s what’s worse.
The gospel can deliver homosexual offenders.
Almost no church is preaching the gospel that powerfully. They have been compromised by giving in to dishonoring of their own bodies in a number of ways.
Even the stout, staunch SBC has problems here. Their church covenant is couched in negative terms (don’t drink) rather than positive terms “honor God in your bodies.”
Now “honor God in your bodies” may sound wimpy.
IT ISN’T
It is a SUPERnatural path to greater Christian effectiveness!
Scott addresses this unbelievable development in his essay. It can only be the work of a supernatural being who knows that his days are short.
I heartily agree with him. Nothing of this makes sense or is natural. After everything we've learned about homosexuality - about the diseases it provably spreads and the acrid incivility of its proponents - for it to metastasize so prolifically must be orchestrated by a being much more powerful than mere mortals.
Partly because they have dropped their own gospel ball.
The positive part of the gospel that is needed here is HONOR GOD IN YOUR BODIES.
Well guess what, supposedly “moral,” “straight” Christian America has flubbed this badly for many decades.
Now all they can do is rail hypocritically at homos who are also dropping this gospel ball.
Pitiful. What a sad-sack excuse for a gospel!!

I was watching an old episode of “Dragnet” a few weeks ago.
Their supervisor was telling the cops about a hippie type group which was causing problems. They sounded like a cross between hippies and criminals.
Anyway the Captain told them that in addition to drugs they were actually pushing homosexuality.
Amazing how much the public’s perceptions have changed and it didn’t just happen. It was made to happen.
The other day the Army bragged on Marrying two graduated Cadets to each other in the West Point Chapel.
The West Point Motto is Duty, Honor, Country.
Where is the honor in two Cadets packing each others Fudge while at the Academy. Does anyone really believe they were not having sex while attending the Academy?
If it had been a Heterosexual couple fornicating they would have tossed them both out of the Academy.
There are so many things all around us, including “as it was in the days of Lot...[when] Lot went out of Sodom” (Luke 17:28-29), telling us as “the children of light” (1 Thess 5:5), “that that day should not overtake [us] as a thief” (1 Thess 5:4).
I certainly see it as America reaching its “end times.” This country embraces this sick depravity, and it tells me America has fully given itself over to evil. I’ll see no country left worth fighting for, nor trying to salvage. Certainly no reason to vote. It will indeed be a new realm, with newly configured allies and enemies.

Either we truly are in the final days, and if so, the world will be cleansed of perversion... or this is a cultural lapse by yet another host of wealthy world powers, just before their demise at the hands of some calamity.

It was a serious question. You were saying that it’s Christians who have been complacent. I was asking if you then thought both Noah and Lot were complacent as well in the breakdown of those societies. Claiming Christians having been complacent is the reason for the breakdown of society is nonsense. First of all it’s Satan who is the ruler of this world at present. He has blinded the eyes of most of this world’s inhabitants and God has given them over for their unbelief. God told us this time would come and we need to be aware of that and prepared. To deny that is dangerous at best.
