I've been listening and the vast majority of questions that have been asked are meaningless to me. What is happening here is a sickening and fascist destruction of individual rights coupled with a naked leftist implementation of a system to intimidate and/or punish individuals who do not agree with the Democratic Party.
The "Republicans" are typically stupidly and drunkenly stumbling around like a bunch of zombies running in to the walls and each other. Only 3 to 4 of them have the ability to even enunciate whatever they are thinking. So far, none of those people have been here today. If the Republicans had any sense they would all start every comment in these committees with "No Republican voted for this mess".
What we are seeing with "Obamacare" is a small part of the US economy being systematically destroyed from within by whoever the fellow is that was elected president along with a cabal of leftists, thieves, communists, socialists and generally really mean and evil people that hate this country. In total they have already stolen all the cash they will all ever need to live like royalty. They have pushed the "stimulus", "cash for clunkers", a host of insane regulations, they are killing the coal industry, they have taken over the auto/banking/insurance industries and the list goes on. They have been systematically killing the small cap stock market by chilling many small companies and destroying the small equity markets. The list goes on and on. The left HATES this country from Obama on down. The Republicans in generally don't but they are so disorganized that they are basically adrift without a rudder. They are unable to ever get on the same page like the commiecrats.
Neither party has anyone that experiences any personal economic pain. Obama has made millions, all of the members of Congress make millions indirectly via their various PACS with which they live like kings. Another dirty little secret is that once elected many members of Congress arrange for their family, handlers, consultants, buddies, etc. to become employed by the CIA. Try proving my last comment wrong. Other than Valerie Plame who was a political hack that was outed as a CIA employee you cannot find out who the CIA employs.
We are very very screwed and anyone that attempts to stand up clear eyed and offer up anything that is founder based "American" gets slapped down ala Ted Cruz.

The insurance provider directed me to the plan I chose. They insured me, charged my credit card... and then a few days later sent me a letter saying the prescriptions wouldn't be covered because they were pre-existing conditions. Ummmm... a couple of the prescriptions are well woman for a 60 year old. A couple she's been taking since her hysterectomy which was 25 years ago. Yep... a hysterectomy is a pre existing condition.
So its not like the insurance companies aren't crooks either. But we just needed common sense legislation. I know... I can go shop it somewhere else. Free market and all that. And I will after I figure out how all of this is gonna spin out.
I agree, there are several things that could’ve/should’ve been done prior to rehauling the entire system. Buying across state lines, tort reform etc..
