The Democrats have long favored involuntary servitude. Then and now. Slaves and cotton. Doctors and Medicaid.

Why not make it a legal requirement to give office visits for free?
This is insanity!

Doctors should be honored to be slaves of the state.

If they are apprehended in another state can they be forcibly returened to Massa Virginia? (Dred Scott may apply here).

If adopted, there will be no doctors to force to do anything.

the announced reimbursement rate plans for this program amount to the doctors giving care and service away for free, the reimbursements barely cover the billing costs
this is why we are reading so many reports about how many, many doctors are refusing to sign up to participate, provide services in this plan
just like many of the best doctors now refuse to take any new medicare patients, only worse
To: mbarker12474
No, but Virgina COULD force doctors to leave the state.
To: mbarker12474
No.
Regardless of what happens tonight, the state’s House of Delegates will still be dominated by the GOP. This will NOT get anywhere, nor will most of McAuliffe’s agenda.

A liberal friend of mine said "well don't they appoint you a lawyer if you can't afford one?"
Have to shake your head on that one.

If adopted, there will be no doctors to force to do anything. Not going to happen, at least not here in VA. However, I fear other states whose legislatures and governors are dominated by the 'Rats, that idea is crossing their perverted minds.

Kaine and Warner managed to get a lot of things done. McAuliffe will have a bigger media allegiance than even them.

the bill was 2700 pages long.
the regs are expected to be around 150,000 pages
this is going to be interesting.
The really bad news about this bill hasn’t even begun to happen.

They could. And then when Doctors close their practices, the legislators can make new laws to require Doctors to work for minimum wage....
