We have a system of two major political parties and it is increasingly obvious now the mask has slipped off and we see just who they are.

We have the corrupt, inbred, mutually back-scratching, corrupt, frick-and-frack Washington Party and then we have the Constitution-loving Patriot Party.

What is amazing is that Cuccinelli came so close I hate to say it but VA is now solidly BLUE-—voting for BHO twice-—two liberal Dem US senators lots of government workers and contractors in Northern VA dependent upon big government.

This isn’t to say the Dems shouldn’t be nervous. The fact that Cuccinelli came so close means that Obamacare is proving to be real albatross. My guess is that Dems in red states are in deep do do next Fall.

Also keep in mind the electorate in midterm elections is generally older and whiter than it is general elections——obviously demographic factors which should give the Republicans a significant advantage in November 2014 coupled with massive disapproval of Obamacare. The so called government “shut down” will be long forgotten a year from now as the disastrous effects of Obamacare become front and center.

If the party had anticipated the possibility that Cuccinelli could beat the polls by 5 points, the usual support might have closed the polls by 2 points (from a 7 point McAuliffe lead) to where the surge would’ve been sufficient to win.

“We need some house cleaning in Virginia but also we in the Tea Party and who are constitutional conservatives need to accept that it is OUR responsibility to fund OUR candidates and that we can not count on the establishment or GOP to do that for us.”

Agreed!!! Y’all have NO idea how hard it is to fundraise for a Primary when the Republicans don’t want to get involved or make waves, or actually back-stab and undermine. Or worse yet, run another faux-Constitutional Candidate to split the vote and insure the incumbent wins -— ala Karl Rove and his Victory Fund. And the Business/Industry PAC’s won’t help if they can’t buy your vote on some future legislation promise.

If the true Conservatives in the Tea Parties, FreedomWorks, Club for Growth, RedState, etc., won’t or don’t jump in to help -— we are GUARANTEED a loss. ONE person can not win a race all by themselves, even if they have the money of a Steve Forbes or Ross Perot.

Then folks report that another Tea Party Constitutional Conservative lost again . . . so sad -— see, the problem is those pesky Tea Party types. And, after all, you can’t win against a sitting incumbent.

Well, “can’t” never accomplished anything -— and I am too determined to do everything in my power to save OUR Country to quit.

What did George Wallace say about the two parties? “There’s not a nickles worth of difference in them”. And that was years ago. They have merged now.
Democrats/RINOs versus conservatives. Time to take back the country from the liberal establishment.

Boehner, McConnell, Cantor and the rest of the sleezy, backstabbing GOP establishment need to be ran out of Washington on a rail.

For a number of years I have been stating that the true boundaries of the northeast is the region east of Interstate 81 and north of Virginia's Interstate 64. It's reasonably accurate.

Stafford County is very conservative. Every precinct went for the incumbant Republican (and quite conservative) Delegate by a 65% margin. He only lost because the illegals and La Raza flooded Prince William County with leftists and many illegal votes.

I only meant what I wrote about the RNC. It isn’t reasonable, in my opinion, to complain the RNC isn’t funding races while at the same time refusing to fund the RNC. I don’t think we should give the RNC a dime. Therefore, I also don’t expect them to have a lot of funding to pour into races I think are important to conservatives. It’s our obligation as conservatives to work for our candidates, that is, if we want them elected.

I’m glad we agree. We have to continue to stand up. We will not win every race but if we refuse to fight we will not even be getting our message out. Ken Cuccinelli even though he lost he actually won the 18-24 vote running on conservative constitutional principles. We also won independents. Sure we lost but if we had not fought at all the next election would be even harder for all the voters we did not engage.

We also need to stop being silent or confined to where we are comfortable. We need to educate and bring into the fold apolitical voters. We can’t blame them for being brainwashed by the media and academia but we can engage them with reason and some will wake up but if we just write people off as stupid then we aren’t doing our job because many of us have been ‘stupid’ in our past.

My biggest issue with the RNC is the unhanded methods they employ to cut off conservatives. So yes, hard to complain they didn’t pour the money in when we gave none, but, and this is a big but - I am not going to willingly believe that the RNC knows what’s best for ME. To cut Cuccinelli off for their own sick reasons and they expect me to believe Rove/Reince knows what is going be best, is utter BS.
