President Barack Obama wants to overhaul the immigration system this year and said that while some House Republicans seem reluctant to support changes he wants to make the vote as easy as he can.

Mr. Obama said he recognizes that some Republicans are reluctant to support a comprehensive bill, but pointed to the broad support for overhauling the system from the businesses community, faith leaders and his predecessor, former President George W. Bush.

After the disaster of a “comprehensive” healthcare bill, I am skeptical of any “comprehensive” bill on any other subject.
“Comprehensive” is a fancy way of saying they will shove something down out throats. It’s something that will be thousands of pages long, which nobody will have read before passing. It will have provisions for the Secretary of HHS or others to issue specific regulations on how to administer the law.
No thanks. Immigration may need “fixing” in some ways, but I vote no for any liberal inspired “comprehensive” solution.
So Hispanics we’re told were the margin of victory for MacAuliffe. And the GOPe still seems determined to commit suicide with an immigration bill.
He doesn’t care about immigration.
He wants to change the subject. Period.
On the heals of the Obamascare disaster they now want to pass another sweaping bill that no one understands. Time to remind our Congresscritters that we don’t want an amnesty and we will vote them out of office if they pass one.
The real reform should be enforcement of our current laws and more closely control our borders..in and out of the US. They still are refusing to make sure that visa holders leave on time..a simple task.
Yeah they need to bring back the lies about 0bamacare NOW.
If you like your health plan, you can keep it. Period.
If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor, period.
If you pass comprehensive immigration, we’ll secure the border. Period.
For once Marco Rubio is right. You cannot trust Obama to hold up his end of ANY deal. Whether on immigration or anything else.
You voted for it America. Now eat it.
Besides once they have illegals voting, they won’t need a conservative base anymore. :)

Of course they were. There an article in the Washington Post and they interviewed three or four Hispanics and came to that conclusion. Already providing Obama and Rove and the GOPe with talking points.

Obama and his ilk want mexican style socialism for the US, and all of his financial backers, both D and R are going to ram it down our throats, whether we want it or not.
