Police reported that during the chase with the teenager, Comstock rammed Officer McPherson’s car.

I wonder if that is how the driver's side door on the truck got bashed in?

“As so many threads on FR attest to, be VERY careful in calling the cops.”

I would say, if it’s not a matter of a clear and present threat to life or limb DO NOT call them. Or maybe if you need to file a police report for insurance purposes.

One of the biggest myths in America is that cops treat white people good, that is to say, fairly. This is not true.

Giving up freedom is a violent, and chaotic change. It’s a symptom of the liberal government. Everyone has their breaking point.

People with maybe slight depression, or past trauma just cannot take it anymore. So people are going nuts. Just wait till they try to take the guns.

“Now it’s a different story.”

You wouldn’t do that now, would you? Because the cops might haul off and shoot her. Dead.

What’s with the shooting dead, btw? This guy, the kid with the air gun, why is it that the cops are actually killing these people rather than disabling them?

Maybe we need some new “rules of engagement” for our CIVILIAN police.

Big IF lets deal with facts. That truck wasn’t going anywhere with the tree in front of it. But its easier to write paperwork for a shooting then wrestly a troubled kid to the ground.

When in an armed conflict you never shoot to disable. You shoot to terminate the other party. If you pull that thing out, intend on killing what you shoot. That advise works for civilians and police. The reasons or lack of reason for the shooting will be reviewed in the court system for years.

“Once the truck had stopped, the teenager refused to turn it off and revved the engine.

Six shots were fired into the truck by the officer with two shots killing the 19-year-old, according to the medical examiner.”

I think they shot too early. If he tried to drive away after stopping that’s one thing (because he already rammed a car, etc.). Not following an order to turn the motor off is not a reason to shoot. Even if he sat there until the thing ran out of gas, the only harm would’ve been the cops had to wait. Maybe they couldn’t wait to buy their smokes either.

Fact: No tree behind or on either side. Speculation; the kid committed suicide by cop.

Personally, I decided long ago that the only thing LE was good for was writing up accident reports for the insurance company. I protect myself and family, and we take care of our own problems now.

Amen.

Speculation- the cop wanted to kill something and no dogs were available.

Speculation

There is an abundance of that.

Yes but speculation doesn’t hurt anyone. Blind acceptance of deadly force by LE will result in more deaths.

But indeed it can. If TSA agents speculate that you might be a threat, prior to your departure, it could very well hurt your chances of arriving at your destination on time.

So you’re ok with speculation involving deadly force but reject any oversight of law enforcement actions.

got it.

Don't most corrupt people hate the light?

too many other cops are happy to cover up the actions of their fellow cops.

Same can be said of members of the military, professional sports teams, political parties, churches, etc., etc, etc.
