Former Montana Lt. Gov. John Bohlinger announced his 2014 Senate campaign this week with a bang. Instead of giving a mundane announcement of his intentions to run as a Democrat for the outgoing Max Baucus Senate seat, Bohlinger made a comparison between House Republicans and the Taliban.
We need to challenge the Tea Party representatives who like the Taliban shut our country down, Bohlinger told reporters, according to the Billings Gazette.
The Montana paper reports that Bohlinger compared to the House GOPs actions in last months government shutdown to that of the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941, and the terrorists actions on Sept. 11, 2001.
Bohlinger previously served as a Republican alongside Democratic Gov. Brian Schweitzer. In the Democratic primary, hell face several candidates including current Lt. Gov. John Walsh.
Just once.
Run a green party candidate and a tea party conservative at the same time.
The remark is aimed at the low information voters while knowing full well the MSM will carry it for him and the GOPe will sit back and just smile.

“Aww cmon man.
Come up with something original.”
No kdding. Are leftists really lacking that much creativity or is there some memo sent out to them to keep repeating the same buzzwords and phrases when describing their political opponents.
What is really sad is this guy probably thinks what he said is original
Years ago, there was one who called it as he saw it. His name was Robert K. “B-1 Bob” Dornan.
Yup - I remember Bob, we need more like him today. These stupid Pubbies allow Harry Reid and the other vermin just spit and walk all over them and say the most viscious things on the floor of the Senate and elsewhere - it’s worse than Stockholm Syndrome.
Exactly! Speaking of which, where are the voices on our side? I’ve heard nary a peep for weeks. Can somebody step up to the mike and start talking like an adult?!
So is there a contest going on behind the scenes, who can say the most ignorant comments about the majority of Americans who want a functioning government?! I wonder what the prize is.
Why don’t we ever answer these clowns? The shutdown was baby doodoo next to this Obamacare nightmare and:
1. Democrats and Obama shut the government down because they wouldn’t even postpone part of this mess.
2. Republicans were 100% right to fight this law, they were fighting to protect Americans from exactly what’s happening.
Is Montana gonna elect a nutjob for a senator?

He sounds real smart. Yup.
If the Tea Party resembled the Taliban, the Left would be cheering them on instead of demonizing them.
