Rhodes College has an endowment of $283 million. However, having this individual among their faculty is indicative of a lack of good judgment that their alumni should take into consideration before making future bequests.
An essential characteristic of sponsoring a “responsible opposing viewpoint” is that it must be “responsible”. By making public statements that are bigoted and hate-filled, he has demonstrated “irresponsibility”.
One would hope that they would not employ avowed Klansmen, neo-Nazis, or pedophiles as faculty, either. The “diversity” of their points of view, like his, is also of little value in an academic setting.

Why do Americans allow this crap to go on in our Colleges and institutions of higher learning?
