You a Prime member as well? It took a while for me to sign up, but I’ve not regretted it once.

I’m happy to hear this. As much as I hate that Amazon puts smaller businesses out of business, capitalism works to benefit those who provide the best service at the lowest price.

Yes...I’ve saved more than what it costs to be Prime. And, when you get bored, you can watch the videos free (most of them anyway).

One thing I’ve also found with Amazon is that their business model is not just itself as a big box consolidator.
There hundreds/thousands of small concerns that have sales agreements with them.

I get a lot of stuff I buy that comes from Mom/Pop Brick & Mortar stores as well. As an estimate, I’d say a third of the stuff I buy is like that.

Me, too. I didn't even know about the free videos included in the Prime membership. Bonus.

Have you seen how many small businesses use Amazon to handle the distribution for their products. Amazon has been a boom for a lot of small companies that list on Amazon. They would never be able to handle the infrastructure Amazon provides. I always thought USPS should get out of the overnight air business and make a deal with UPS to handle the final leg of residential delivery. The postal worker is going by that house anyway. It is extra stop for UPS.

I buy tons of used books from Amazon, all of which come from small sellers.

If you're looking for something they don't carry (or even if they do) there are options that come up from other, often small, businesses. The service through Amazon with them is very good, as they want a favorable rating. I've found real good sources for vinyl records, specialty foods, made-in-the-USA greeting cards, as just a few examples. Besides that, the purchases get points in Amazon prime.
