First China just killed our pets with “treats” and food hey manufactured, now the FDA is set to allow them to kill the rest of us. I wonder how much money is funneled to obamaramadingdong and moochelle to let this happen.

Nice headline, but it is very hard to raise chickens after they have been slaughtered.

I do see where there may be some places that would import poultry from China ... like food service (schools, Armed Forces) ect...due to the shortage of poultry right now in the US.

No one wants our children and defenders eating food not fit to eat..

Here's how capitalism works - if there's a 'shortage' prices go up and demand WILL BE MET. We don't need Chinese chickens, dog food, baby food, vitamins or additives. If there's a law identifying what's in food - and where it's from - the problem will solve itself...

"Even a broken clock is right twice a day."

Shumer is right only once a day in my book, people like him get put on military time.

as long as the law isn’t “gamed”, I agree. Look for it to be manipulated though. Powerful Lobbies in play.

Our local dollar store has fruit, vegetables and meat from either Mexico or “Asia”. I did find some awesome ginger snaps made in Abilene, Texas, though and bought all they had. But man cannot live on ginger snaps alone. I tried a package of their frozen sliced peaches, thinking they might work for a cobbler. They were gross and so threw them out. Wasted a dollar.

Especially if done in that order.

Did I say I want anyone to eat stuff from China? And could you be a bit more condescending about how capitalism works? Sheesh...

My point was when prices go up, those who can/will pay more will get the US product. Institutions that have a ‘fixed’ $ to spend on food will be ‘forced’ by the market to look for lower priced/quality goods.

Under these circumstances I can see schools being forced to procure their chicken nuggets that end up being a lower priced/quality product...which may mean product from China/Mexico/Canada...etc.

Unless a food contract specifies that all product must be from the US...whomever has the food contracts for schools and bases...will buy whatever goods they can at the best price.

See that’s how food service works. Contracts and $ per serving.

I shouldn’t have responded to this thread at all. I’m allergic to chicken.

“Why did the Chicken cross the Ocean?”

Because they can.

Making us dependent on commies to provide EVERYTHING is the goal of 0b0z0 to accomplish our destruction.

They say in some third-world countries: our goal is to manufacture everything from the needle to the rocket.

We had it all. In 0b0z0’s America, he started already by taking rides in other countries’ space rockets and now he’s working on eliminating “the needles” and everything in between.

My point was if they put the country of origin on the food - and menu - yes, that includes school cafeterias... the problem will solve itself. Lots of parents love their children. Besides to allow your kids to eat Chinese chicken you're have to be so stupid you'd be 'democrat stupid'... and that's dumb as it comes... Maybe schools can dump some of the dreadful vegetables kids don't eat anyhow and put the extra savings toward buying better quality food...

Very sobering and oh-so-true statements.
