Big deal.

It's in that little office off the side that all the action is.

He should have added a toilet behind the desk and dropped a deuce in it to replicate the office’s current occupant.

White House fan Ron Wade has built an exact replica of the Oval Office in his home costing more than $200,000. The father-of-two painstakingly recreated the White House's most famous room over four years. Obsessed Mr Wade also owns the world's largest collection of presidential memorabilia which is squeezed into the family home.

LOL is there a copy of Obama's birth certificate and Harvard school records among the replicas and memorabilia?

False advertising! False headline! I was hoping to see what it looked like when a driveway was fashioned into an oval office. He just built onto his house! Greatly disappointed, as I bet his 36-year old wife is, behind that smile.

I know one thing he got wrong. One of the things a President does is have a portrait of their favorite President hung in the office. Obama’s would be his own.

I wonder if he’ll commission Madame Tussaud’s to make a lifelike Monica wax figure.

I doubt it was all that difficult. I'm only surprised that it cost $200,000.

Does it have little Clintoon stains on the carpet? Then it isn’t real.

With all the Democrats that have been in there, that office must light up under UV light like an hourly rate motel.

My first thought is I can’t believe he has a wife and that she let him do this. I looked at the article, and he’s 63, she’s 36. The replica is beautiful on the inside and it looks OK from the outside. It’s not on his driveway. I’d be surprised if he paid more than $200,000 for the rest of his house, though.

I hope he invites his state’s junior senator, Ted Cruz, over to his home and shows Senator Cruz the duplicate of the Oval Office.

Then, Mr. Wade should say to Senator Cruz, “Sir, you need to be sitting in the original version of this office in Washington starting on January 20, 2017.”

Whether we can hang on that long is another matter.

This is so quintessentially American. I love it, even if it isn’t my thing.

Unfortunately, this publicity will make him a prime target for a break-in.

I don’t know what I find more mind-boggling - that there is a person who is so obsessed with the Oval Office they would let it impact the lives of their family this way...
or,
the fact that same person is actually married.

Just wow.

I saw a story about this guy a while back on one of the cable channels. They had a series (don’t rememeber what it was called - “My Wild Obsession”, or something like that) that did profiles of people with hobbies or collections that were carried to the extreme. In the interview they did with him, he didn’t get into any discussion about what his political leanings might be. He’s harmless - just fascinated by the office of the President.
